稻田养鱼是将稻田种稻和养鱼结合起来,把两个生产场所重叠在一起,充分利用稻田生态环境,发挥水稻和鱼互利共生的作用,获得有机水稻和有机鱼的双丰收.稻田养鱼技术在我国具有非常悠久的历史,以时间为轴,以生物多样性为主线,将我国稻田养鱼分为三个阶段：传统稻田养鱼阶段（东汉末年至新中国建立前）、探索发展阶段（新中国建立后至20 世纪 80 年代末）、现代稻田养鱼阶段（20 世纪 80 年代末至今）,回顾了我国稻田养鱼技术的研究进程,总结分析了我国稻田养鱼技术的发展现状与特点,重点突出稻田养鱼技术的进步与创新.
