Ditylenchus destructor is distributed widely in China and causes considerable yield losses of potatoes. Genetic diversity and variation of this species was analysed using Inter-Simple Sequence Repeats (ISSR) markers. Second-stage juveniles from 16 populations were analysed with three primer pairs and 32 fragments were considered for the analysis. Diversity levels within populations were relatively high.
