网络教育的产生及其蓬勃发展,极大地改变了人们的思维模式和学习模式,并促使传统教育进行前所未有的巨大革新。以网络为基础的现代远程教育被很多教育专家认为必将突破传统教育的阻隔,扩张到社会的各个角落乃至每个人的学涯中。通过对网络教育与传统教育在教学内容、教学模式、教学方法等方面的优缺点和发展趋势进行比较,认为网络教育与传统教育二者相互包容、相互借鉴、不可替代,是未来教育的两驾马车。
