This experiment was conducted to determine the effect of methionine and lysine supplementation on growth performance, meat quality and rumen fermentation parameters in growing goats. Twenty Xiangdong black goats with initial body weights of 18.1 ± 2.07 kg were used and randomly assigned into four treatments including: no additive (Control), 1.27% Methionine (T1), 2.45% Lysine-HCl (T2), 1.27% Methionine plus 2.45% Lysine-HCl (T3).
