In order to gain a further understanding on the pathology of streptococcus suis disease, we used the methods of pathological anatomy and histopathology to research the pathological characteristics of three 8-month-old pigs challenged by Streptococcus suis. The results showed that petechia and ecchymosis could be seen on the skins of auricle, neck and abdomen, and at the end of limbs in dead pigs.
