The aim of this study was to determine the drug resistance ofEnterococcus faecalis and the genes related to resistance. Total 42 isolates were evaluated for their sensitivity to 11 antimicrobial drugs by K-B disc diffusion method and for the presence of 8 resistance genes in PCR. All 42 isolates ofEnterococcus faecalis were highly resistant to most antimicrobial drugs.
