The effects of spraying KCI and sucrose solutions, light and nutritional Mo on the nitrate accumulation in a variety of Chinese cabbage were investigated by sand culture and soil culture test. The results showed that spraying sucrose and KCl solutions on the leaf surface of Chinese cabbage obviously decreased the contents of nitrate in it, and not affected its biomass; shielding light and without applying mo apparently increased the contents of nitrate, dropped root activity and yields of edible parts.
