动物隐喻是隐喻的一种,是把动物作为始源域,将人或事作为目标域进行跨域投射的一种思维方式。汉语中常见的动物三字俗语隐喻的语言结构特征有三种:"限定词（如形容词等）+动物名词"、"名词+名词"和"动词+动物名词/动物名词+动词"。它们在意义联想模式、认知参照模式与概念隐喻模式等存在不同的隐喻特征。
