SBP‐box is an important plant‐specific transcription factor family and is involved in diverse biological processes. Here, we identified a total of 15 SBP‐BOX genes in the important fruit crop sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) and characterized their gene structures, conserved domain and motif, chromosomal location, and cis‐acting regulatory elements.
