Simple Summary Gut microbiota has become a key factor affecting various phenotypic characteristics of the host. Chinese indigenous pig breeds (Ningxiang pigs) have shown greater stress resistance compared to commercial breeds (Duroc x Landrace x Yorkshire (DLY) pigs) which may be related to their distinctive gut microbiota.
