An experiment was conducted with 1500 AA chicks to determine the effect of adding sepiolite to broiler diet. Results from a 56-day feeding period showed that diet with sepiolite as the only carrier for dietary mineral supplement had the best average gain and feed: gain ratio (1753g,2.25) while the control group was the worst(1553g, 2.59) with diet supplemented with imported British additive and diets containig lower amount of sepiolilf in between.
