为研究河蟹的生长特性,本文通过对大通湖(12万亩大水面),千亩湖(多个25亩池塘)河蟹的雌雄胸甲长,胸甲宽,胸甲厚与体重及河蟹可食部分研究,结果表明:胸甲宽与体重存在很好的线性关系,公蟹的胸甲宽与体重线性关系为y=0.1336x+46.693,母蟹的胸甲宽与体重线性关系为y=0.1635x+45.019。而通过对大水面与池塘河蟹生长(主要是体重)研究,发现大水面养的河蟹体重要普遍高于池塘。通过对河

We used otoliths, scales, pectoral fins, dorsal fins, basioccipital bones, opercular bones, interopercular bones, vertebrae, teeth, and cleithra sampled from 221 known-age Northern Snakeheads Channa argus argus representing five age-groups to determine and compare age estimation methods for this species. Results showed that accuracy of age estimation methods varied among structures: 85.68% of otoliths, 68.91% of scales, 49.25% of pectoral fin rays, and 27.67% of opercular bones yielded age estimates that were consistent with the actual fish ages. Ages determined from other structures, such as interopercular bones, dorsal fins, basioccipital bones, and vertebrae, had lower rates of agreement (<20%) with actual ages. The current results suggest that age estimation with otoliths, especially sagittal otoliths, is the most accurate method for use with Northern Snakeheads. Furthermore, analysis of scales can be used as a supplementary approach, especially for younger (age < 3) Northern Snakeheads. Received March 14, 2013; accepted June 27, 2013

摘要:
This study was conducted to investigate how chitosan (COS) affects intestinal mucosal barrier function and to further explain mechanisms of COS on growth performance. Thirty piglets, weaned at 21 days of age, were challenged with enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli during preliminary trial period. Three groups of Piglets in individual pens were fed a corn-soybean meal diet containing no addition, 50 mg/kg chlortetracycline, or 300 mg/kg COS for 21 days. Jejunal morphology and histology were analyzed under light microscope. The concentrations of occludin proteins were determined by western blot. Immunohistochemistry assays were used to determine secretory immunoglobulin (sIgA) level. Real-time PCR was used to detect Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and Claudin-1 in jejunal mucosa. Feeding COS or chlortetracycline reduced (P < 0.05) feed conversion ratio. Villus length, villus length/crypt depth, and goblet cells, were increased (P < 0.05), but villus width and crypt depth were decreased (P < 0.05) in both COS and chlortetracycline groups. Intraepithelial lymphocytes were higher (P < 0.05) in the COS group than both chlortetracycline and control groups. Occludin protein expression was increased (P < 0.01) in the COS group, but was decreased (P < 0.05) in the chlortetracycline group. Expression of sIgA protein was higher (P < 0.05) in the COS group than both control and chlortetracycline groups, however TLR4 mRNA expression was decreased (P < 0.05) in both COS and chlortetracycline groups. There was no difference in expression of claudin-1 among the three groups. In conclusion, chitosan and the antibiotic have similar effects in promoting piglet growth and reducing intestinal inflammation, but different effects on intestinal mucosal barrier function. This indicates that chitosan can replace chlortetracycline as a feed additive for piglets. © 2013 Published by Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
The genetic diversity of four protected indigenous chicken breeds was evaluated with 25 microsatellite markers. Polymorphism information content (PIC), heterozygosity with the estimator of genetic differentiation FST and Nei’s genetic distance were evaluated. The results showed that these four protected local chicken populations showed high levels of diversity. The proportion of inter-population subdivision among the four protected local chicken populations was 16.0%. The average heterozygosity was 0.514, 0.581, 0.567 and 0.589 in Dongan, Xuefeng black-bone, Xianghuang and Taoyuan chickens, respectively, while the average PIC estimates were 0.455, 0.581, 0.557 and 0.576. A phylogenetic tree was constructed using genetic distance and the neighbour-joining method. Its topology reflects the general pattern of genetic differentiation among the four chicken breeds. The results also showed high genetic diversity and genetic variation among all the breeds. The information about the four local breeds estimated by microsatellite analysis may be useful as an initial guide for the effective conservation of chicken genetic diversity and developing conservation strategies.Keywords: Native chicken; genetic variation; microsatellite DNA

摘要:
The mycotoxin deoxynivalenol (DON) is a food contaminant that leads to reduced feed intake and reduced BW gain, as well as organ impairment. On the other hand, antimicrobial peptides have been shown to have positive effects on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, and immune function. The purpose of this study was to investigate the protective effects of composite antimicrobial peptides (CAP) on piglets challenged with DON. After a 7-d adaptation period. 28 individually housed piglets (Duroc × Landrace × Large Yorkshire) weaned at 28 d of age were randomly assigned to receive 1 of 4 treatments (7 pigs/treatment): negative control, basal diet (NC), basal diet + 0.4% CAP (CAP), basal diet + 4 mg/kg DON (DON), and basal diet + 4 ppm DON + 0.4% CAP (DON + CAP). On d 15 and 30 after the initiation of treatment, blood samples were collected for the determination of blood profile. Piglets were monitored for 30 d to assess performance and then were slaughtered to obtain organs for the determination of the relative weight of organs. The results showed that dietary supplementation with DON decreased (P < 0.05) ADFI, ADG, and G:F, whereas dietary supplementation with CAP improved ADG and G:F (P < 0.05). The relative weight of the kidney and pancreas was greater and the relative weight of the spleen was lighter in the DON treatment than in the other 3 treatments (P <0.05). There were no effects (P > 0.05) on other relative weights of viscera, except the relative weight of the gallbladder, but the diamine oxidase activity in the liver decreased in DON-treated piglets (P < 0.05). Piglets in the DON treatment had increased serum concentrations of alkaline phosphatase, alanine transaminase, and aspartate aminotransferase and a dramatic decrease in total protein (P < 0.05), whereas there were no differences (P > 0.05) between the DON + CAP treatment and the other treatments. The DON treatment decreased the numbers of red blood cells and platelets, as well as the serum catalase concentrations, and decreased the serum concentrations of H202, maleic dialdehyde, and nitric oxide (P < 0.05). The numbers of platelets and thrombocytocrit, as well as the serum concentrations of catalase, were greater, whereas the maleic dialdehyde concentrations were decreased, in both the CAP and DON + CAP treatments compared with the other treatments (P < 0.05). Compared with the control treatment, DON decreased peripheral lymphocyte proliferation on d 15, whereas supplementation with CAP increased it on d 15 and 30 (P < 0.05). These findings indicate that CAP could improve feed efficiency, immune function, and antioxidation capacity and alleviate organ damage, and thus, it has a protective effect in piglets challenged with DON. © 2013 American Society of Animal Science. In this work, we reported the complete mitochondrial DNA sequence of the hybrid of Squaliobarbus curriculus (female symbol) x Ctenopharyngodon idella (male symbol), which was obtained by artificial hybridization. The total length of the mitochondrial genome is 16,616 bp, with the base composition of 31.15% A, 25.02% T, 27.66% C, and 16.17% G. It contains 2 ribosomal RNA genes, 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, and a major non-coding control region (D-loop region). The arrangement of these genes is the same as that found in the teleosts. All the protein initiation codons are ATG, except for COX1 that begins with GTG. The complete mitogenome of the hybrid of S. curriculus (female symbol) x C. idella (male symbol) provides an important data set for the study in genetic mechanism.

摘要:
PPAR is one cluster of the most important genes that related with lipid metabolism. And it can used as the index of goose strain selection. In this study, we collected 282 blood samples of 75 days Dongting goose to detect the SNPsof PPAPα gene by PCR-SSCP. The results showed that in the gene sequence of 215bp had a mutation of C→T and the gene frequency of A,B were 0.393,0.607, respectively, the genotype frequency of AA, AB, BB were 0.126, 0.533, 0.341, respectively. So we can concluded the polymorphism of goose PPAPα gene and the genotype frequency of heterozygote was higher in the test samples. After genotype detection of all samples, 35 AA and 96 BB genotype obtained. The abdominal fat weight of AA and BB genotype were 23.14±5.08 and 43.69±8.04, the abdominal fat ratio and liver weight ratio of AA and BB genotype were 0.80±0.30, 2.74±0.82 and 1.58±0.55, 2.87±0.69, respectively. By statistics of variance, the PPAPa genotype was highly significantly associated with abdominal fat weight, abdominal fat ratio and liver weight ratio (p<0.05). In general, the abdominal fat weight, abdominal fat ratio and liver weight ratio showed a tendency of BB>AA, indicating that the common allele was the least favorable for abdominal fat deposition. Thus, there is an enormous opportunity to decrease abdominal fat deposition in case this allele is confirmed in other more studies. © 2013 Academic Journals Inc.

摘要:
过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体(PPARs)是一类配体依赖的核转录因子,属核受体超家族成员。自从PPARs于1990年被发现以来,研究人员对啮齿动物和人体PPARs基因的结构与多态性、组织中表达模式、影响表达的因素、信号传导途径以及调控脂类代谢等方面的功能进行了广泛和深入的研究。近年来,PPARs基因在畜禽及鱼类中的表达模式及功能的研究也逐渐开展起来,并取得了一些进展。本文对PPARs基因在畜产动物组织中的表达模式及功能研究进行了综述。

饲料中蚕豆、去皮蚕豆对草鱼生长、肉质及血液生理生化指标的影响

摘要:
以商品饲料配方为基础,以蚕豆,去皮蚕豆等蛋白替代商品饲料中的豆粕、棉粕和菜粕,配制配合饲料(对照)、蚕豆饲料和去皮蚕豆饲料三组饲料,蚕豆、去皮蚕豆的添加量均为80%,饲喂初始体重(860±40)g的草鱼(Ctenopharyngodon idellus)20周,考察投饲蚕豆和去皮蚕豆饲料对草鱼生长、肉质及部分血液生理生化指标的影响.结果表明:与配合饲料组比,蚕豆饲料组和去皮蚕豆饲料组对草鱼生长性能无显著影响,但显著降低了脏体比和肝体比(P<0.05);投饲蚕豆饲料和去皮蚕豆饲料显著提高了红细胞和白细胞数量以及血清血糖、总胆固醇、尿素氮含量以及谷草转氨酶活性(P<0.05),而超氧化物歧化酶活力则显著降低(P<0.05);与配合饲料组相比,蚕豆饲料组和去皮蚕豆饲料组的肌肉水分含量和失水率显著降低(P<0.05),肌肉粗脂肪含量显著升高(P<0.05),肌原纤维耐折力和肌纤维直径显著提高(P<0.05),肌肉中呈鲜味氨基酸和必需氨基酸含量显著增加(P<0.05).上述结果表明,饲喂蚕豆饲料和去皮蚕豆饲料对草鱼的生长性能无负面影响,均能改变草鱼的肉质.

甘草酸二钾体外诱导感染MDV鸡胚成纤维细胞凋亡发挥抗病毒作用

摘要:
[目的]探讨甘草酸二钾体外抗MDV的活性及作用机制。[方法]在体外以鸡胚成纤维细胞为MDV增殖模型,利用MTT比色法、噬斑减少法通过抗病毒试验、病毒复制抑制试验、直接灭活试验来评价甘草酸二钾的抗病毒效果;并通过细胞凋亡试验解释其抗病毒机制。[结果]抗病毒试验结果表明,在安全浓度范围内,甘草酸二钾在体外具有较强的抗MDV的活性,其EC_(50)为(893.5±36.99)μg?mL~(-1),SI>3.36,最大抑制率达94.4%;在病毒复制抑制试验中,甘草酸二钾可以抑制病毒复制的整个过程;病毒直接灭活试验表明甘草酸二钾可直接杀灭病毒粒子且不呈时间依赖性;细胞凋亡试验结果显示甘草酸二钾能够诱导感染MDV的鸡胚成纤维细胞凋亡。[结论]甘草酸二钾在体外具有抗MDV的活性,可以通过诱导感染病毒的鸡胚成纤维细胞凋亡发挥抗病毒作用。

本文通过对我国饲料工业标准化的制定、实施及面临的现状予以阐述,并结合发达国家先进的标准制定理念,提出了加快我国现代饲料工业标准进程所应采取的措施,为提高我国标准化人员的从业素质,规范标准修订工作质量,加快建设现代饲料工业发展,早日实现我国饲料工业的标准化提供一定的参考。
