Facile preparation of robust porous MoS2/C nanosheet networks as anode material for sodium ion batteries

摘要:
Developing advanced MoS2 anode material for sodium ion battery is still a big challenge since it is hindered by poor cycling stability and rate capability owing to huge volume variation during charge/discharge processes and low conductivity. In this work, three-dimensional porous networks consisting of several-layered MoS2/C nanosheets are synthesized via a facile freeze-drying approach using NaCl as template. MoS2/C nanosheet networks demonstrate a high reversible capacity of 389mAhg−1 and maintain 370mAhg−1 after 100 cycles at 100mAg−1, indicating excellent cycling stability. Good rate properties are also achieved with reversible capacities of 292, 256, 223, 174mAhg−1 at 1, 2, 4, 6Ag−1, respectively. The excellent electrochemical performance can be ascribed to the unique three-dimensional networks consisting of few-layered MoS2 nanosheets, which facilitates sodium ion diffusion via near-surface reaction. Moreover, the robust three-dimensional carbon matrix can not only provide a conductive network, but also buffer the strain and maintain the electrode integrity during repeated sodiation/desodiation process. This strategy presents a new path for fabricating low-cost and high-yield three-dimensional metal sulfide (phosphide)/carbon composites for applications in energy-related fields and beyond. © 2018, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

师生角色互换在材料化学专业课堂教学中的探索

针对当代大学生课堂学习中存在的学习兴趣和积极性不高等问题,在材料化学专业课堂教学中引入了师生角色互换的教学模式.在师生角色互换的教学试点,通过建立学习小组,分工合作,教学软件多样化,展示方式多元化,学生教学以及建立演讲竞争机制,学生、老师对教学的点评以及老师对于知识点的补充等环节,营造了融洽的课堂学习氛圉,增强了师生间的互动交流,提高了学生对于课堂学习的兴趣和积极性.

高选择性APSF/rNafion复合膜在全钒液流电池中的应用

摘要:
以氨化聚砜(APSF)和废弃的Nafion为原料,通过交混流涎的方法制得APSF/rNafion复合膜.采用了扫描电子电镜、拉力测试仪、电化学工作站和充放电测试仪等仪器对复合膜的形貌、力学性能和电化学性能进行表征.结果表明:APSF与rNafion具有很好的兼容性,使得复合膜具有好的力学性能和钒离子选择性.与空白的重铸Nafion膜相比,在不同电流密度下,APSF/rNafion复合膜表现出了突出的电化学性能,同时在40 mA/cm2的电流密度下,复合膜的库伦效率(80 μm,CE=96%)高于商用的 Nafion115的库伦效率(125 μm,CE=94.4%).此外,在80 mA/cm2的电流密度下,用APSF/rNafion复合膜组装的电池经过100圈的循环测试后,仍然具有80%的能量效率和85%放电容量维持率,表现出了很好的化学稳定性.该复合膜制备简单、耗材少、成本低,在全钒液流电池中有很好的应用前景.

摘要:
Grape vine shoots were utilized as the biomass feedstock and pyrolyzed under temperatures ranging in 300°C–600°C with nitrogen atmosphere to produce biochars. The surface properties of the as-obtained biochars were characterized, followed with the careful investigation of the adsorption of lead and cadmium removal in aqueous environments. All as-prepared biochars had weak alkali characteristics and large amount of mineral species, which can greatly improve the adsorption performance. Outstanding storing capacities of 250.81, 327.31, 377.36 mg g–1 for Cd2+ and 156.12, 237.25, 258.86 mg g–1 for Pb2+ were exhibited by biochar pyrolyzed under 300°C, 450°C and 600°C, respectively. The adsorption equilibrium could be reached about 7 h and the suitable solution pH should be above 3. Both Langmuir and Freundlich models fitted the data well and precipitation was found to be the dominant mechanism for the adsorption of both metals. Overall, grape vine shoots are confirmed to be a promising feedstock to produce biochar sorbents of heavy metals in wastewater with excellent performance, economic cost, and easy process. © 2018, Desalination Publications. 高性能PVDF/SiO2@HPA复合膜在全钒液流电池中的应用

以聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)多孔膜为基质,采用原位凝胶溶胶合成二氧化硅负载磷钨酸(Si O2@HPA)纳米粒子的方法对多孔膜进行修饰。分别用扫描电子显微镜、电化学工作站、充放电测试仪等仪器对膜的结构、电化学性能进行表征。结果表明:与空白的PVDF相比,经过纳米粒子修饰的复合膜的钒离子选择性得到明显提高。在不同的电流密度下,修饰后的复合膜的充放电效率都高于未修饰PVDF多孔膜,并且在40m A·cm-2的电流密度下,复合膜的能量效率提高了17.6%。在80 m A·cm-2的电流密度下,用PVDF/Si O2@HPA组装的电池在100圈的循环测试中保持较好的稳定性。

摘要:
Stabilizing the layer structures of Mo-based anode materials is still a challenge for Li ion batteries. Herein, we proposed an electrochemical presodiation strategy for MoS<inf>2</inf>and MoO<inf>3</inf>to improve their cycling stability. It is interesting to note that the cycling stability of as-treated MoS<inf>2</inf>and MoO<inf>3</inf>was significantly improved. Although the reversible discharge capacity was slightly decreased, the capacity of the pretreated MoS<inf>2</inf>at 300 mA g<sup>−1</sup>was retained at 345 mA h g<sup>−1</sup>after 100 cycles while that of the pristine one decreased to 151 mA h g<sup>−1</sup>. The capacity of the pretreated MoO<inf>3</inf>after 60 cycles was also improved from 275 mA h g<sup>−1</sup>(the pristine one) to 460 mA h g<sup>−1</sup>. The stabilizing effect was further verified by scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis. Electrochemical presodiation here could be a promising modification strategy for Mo-based anode materials. ©2017 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

摘要:
The acidic environment has been confirmed to have significant influence on the biochar products through hydrothermal carbonization. To investigate the effect of H<inf>3</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>on the surface properties and adsorption mechanisms of the biochar, fresh banana peels were used as feedstock and transformed into hydrochars under the catalysis of H<inf>3</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>with concentration ranges from 0% to 50%wt. The addition of H<inf>3</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>greatly impacted the physicochemical properties of the as-obtained hydrochars, such as carbonization degrees, pH values, amount of surface acidic functional groups and then further affected the adsorption mechanisms of lead ions on those hydrochars. Hydrochars catalyzed by H<inf>3</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>with higher concentration showed higher degree of carbonization, lower value of pH and fewer amount of acidic functional groups, while lower content of H<inf>3</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>could not completely catalyze the degradation reactions and resulted in larger quantity of intermolecular locked oxygen containing groups that could not be participated into the adsorption process. Among all six samples, hydrochar generated in 30%wt H<inf>3</inf>PO<inf>4</inf>exhibited the best adsorption property of 241 mg g<sup>−1</sup>, possibly due to the largest concentration of the acidic functional groups on the surface rather than in the intermolecular structure of the carbon. It had been confirmed that the adsorption mechanisms were the combination of surface complexation, cationic exchange and part of precipitation. Hydrochars derived from fresh banana peel via hydrothermal carbonization catalyzed by phosphoric acid could be excellent adsorbents for lead removal in aqueous environments. ©2017 Elsevier Ltd

采用多种商品炭如活性炭(CA)、煤粉(PC)、木质2.0生物炭(L2B)、椰壳生物炭(CSB)、稻壳生物炭(RHB)、硬炭毡(HCF)、软炭毡(SCF)、果壳生物炭(SB)等作为代表,通过各项表征手段检测不同商品炭的表面性质。利用扫描电镜(SEM)观察各商品炭的表面形貌,以傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)和Boehm滴定法分别定性和定量分析不同商品炭表面官能团的种类和数量,通过对商品炭的形貌结构、表面含有官能团和晶体结构的分析,发现商品炭对重金属离子吸附的主要影响因素是酸性表面官能团,而商品炭形貌及孔隙度影响较小。

摘要:
Owning to its large surface area and atomic thickness, graphene possesses exceptional mechanical, optical and electrical properties. Up to now, graphene and its composites/ hybrids have been widely used in various scientific fields such as drug carriers, electronics, transistors, sensors, conductive materials and so on. Unfortunately, the prospects of more extensive applications of graphene have been impeded by its poor dispersibility, processability and tunability. However, graphene can be chemically modified, and the well-chosen organic molecules with active functional groups would react with graphene to form low-dimensional graphene-organic architectures. The controlled functionalization of organic molecules onto the defective sites of graphene is a very effective route for fabrication of graphenebased composite materials. The aim of this article is to present an overview of the surface functionalization methodologies which are valuable for the selective construction of highly functionalized graphene with controllable properties. The interactions between graphene and organic molecules were discussed in detail. We hope to provide some useful references and enlightened views for scientific research groups. © 2016 Bentham Science Publishers.

基础课学习阶段的大学生在科创过程中,存在意思欠缺,能力不足等问题。为了培养大学生的科创能力,以湖南农业大学本科学生为对象,开展了第一届冬令营的科研能力培养教学研究。此次冬令营,通过建立学习小组,利用计算机辅助教学,引入竞赛激励机制与提问环节,创建科学创新团队等方法,培养大学生的科研兴趣,提升大学生的科研创新精神与动手能力。

The diiodocarbenemodified graphene nanosheets (Gr-CI2 were successfully synthesized. The generation of diiodocarbene was carried out by reaction of aqueous sodium hydroxide with iodoform. The functionalization was carried out in the presence of hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide as the phase transfer catalyst. To determine the morphology and elemental composition of the product, the obtained composite was fully characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The degree of grafted iodine reached up to 33 wt%, and the morphology of the functionalized graphene remained largely unchanged, indicating that the modification was successfully realized. The adsorption of Pb(II) from aqueous solutions using Gr-CI2 composite were systematically studied. And Langmuir isotherm was found to better fit the equilibrium data. Due to its high adsorption capacities for Pb(II) and the feasible preparation procedure, Gr-CI2 composite would find its potential application in wastewater treatment. 农业性院校本科生《文献检索》课程实践改革初探

摘要:
文献是学科前沿研究动态的集中体现,要提升学生的科研创新能力必须掌握文献查阅技能。结合《文献检索》课程教学经验,提出对于该课程应加强实践改革,并从自身经验与体会出发开展了初步试验探索。初探内容包括:从大学生创新项目申报的角度树立文献查阅的目标,激发学生的学习兴趣,采用"现学现用、活学活用"模式保障实践跟上理论,利用投影仪、画板展示等手段提高学生的主动性和积极性,引入研讨会和竞赛机制进一步巩固知识。试验证明,加强实践环节有利于促进学生对文献检索知识与技能的掌握,值得在农业性院校的本科教学中推广。
