In situ formation of ZnO scattering sites within a TiO2 nanoparticles film for improved dye-sensitized solar cells performance

摘要:
A ZnO/TiO2 composite layer was fabricated on top of a nanoporous TiO2 layer to form a heterostructure bilayer photoanode (P-PZ). The in-situ scattering sites of ZnO were formed inside the assembled photoanode (P-PZ) through the dissolution of ZnO particles caused by soaking in titanium tetrachloride solution. In comparison, the conventional TiO2 photoanodes (2P) and photoanodes with incorporation of the commercial large TiO2 particles (P-PT) were also prepared, and the three photoanodes (2P, P-PT, P-PZ) were all with the thickness of about 14.2 mu m. A light-to-electricity conversion efficiency (eta) of 7.50% was received for the P-PZ-based DSSCs, much higher than that of the DSSCs with 2P (5.34%) and P-PT (5.96%) photoanodes. The superior performance of the DSSC with P-PZ photoanode is mainly attributed to the following factors. (i) The in-situ scattering sites exhibit great light scattering ability, resulting in the great improvement in the short-circuit current density (J(sc)). (ii) The ZnO-coated TiO2 structure shifts the conduction band of TiO2, leading to the great increase in the open circuit voltage (V-oc). (C) 2015 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

摘要:
The Manganese oxide/active carbon fiber (MO/ ACF) was prepared and its electrosorptive properties of Cd(II) in aqueous solution were investigated. The structure of MO/ACF was characterized with transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Furthermore, the Cd(II) electrosorptive properties of MO/ACF electrodes with different bias potentials, ionic strengths, and loaded amount of manganese oxides were measured and the electrosorption isotherm and kinetics were investigated. The Cd(II) electrosorptive capacity of MO/ACF was 6 times higher than that of pure ACF. The optimal adsorptive bias voltage was 1.5 V and the optimal electrolyte concentration of NaCl was 0.1 mol/L. The adsorption isotherm was agreed well with the Freundlich adsorption model and its maximum electrosorption capacity was 14.88 mg/g by Langmuir model. The higher adsorptive capacity of MO/ACF than that of pure ACF is attributed to higher capacitance and more adsorptive sites of MO/ACF. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2014.

g-C<inf>3</inf>N<inf>4</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf>heterojunction plate array films with enhanced photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance were successfully synthesized through a combination of hydrothermal and dipping-annealing methods. Urea aqueous solutions were prepared as the precursors to in situ synthesize g-C<inf>3</inf>N<inf>4</inf>nanoparticles on the surface of WO<inf>3</inf>platelets. The PEC performances of the photoanodes were investigated by the photocurrent density and incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency (IPCE). As-prepared g-C<inf>3</inf>N<inf>4</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf>heterojunction films achieved a maximum photocurrent density of 2.10 mA cm<sup>-2</sup>at +2.0 V (vs. RHE), which was almost 3-fold higher than that of the pure WO<inf>3</inf>film (0.78 mA cm<sup>-2</sup>) under illumination. And the highest IPCE value increased from 25.1% to 53.1% after the g-C<inf>3</inf>N<inf>4</inf>nanoparticles deposition. The enhanced PEC performance was attributed to the increased carriers density, better electron transport properties, longer electron lifetime and effective charge separation at the interface of heterojunction, which were confirmed by Mott-Schottky and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). This study demonstrates that the low-dimensional morphological structure and in situ formation of heterojunction structure are expected to provide a promising photoanode for photoelectric catalysis. ©The Royal Society of Chemistry 2015.

Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) based on phosphotungstic acid-TiO2 composites (PT) and WO3 nanoparticle incorporated TiO2 photoanodes were successfully constructed by doctor blading TiO2 paste containing PT and various amounts of WO3. Film features were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. Photoelectrochemical properties were examined by the photocurrentvoltage (J-V) curves as well as monochromatic incident photon-to-photocurrent conversion efficiency and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. Compared with the DSSC based on pure P25 films, that based on PT/P25 films yielded a 16.9% higher J(sc) and a 21.3% higher eta, while that based on PT/P25 + 1/70WO(3) films resulted in a 49.2% higher J(sc) and a 40.3% higher eta. EIS data demonstrated that charge transfer resistance was clearly reduced by introducing PT and WO3 into TiO2 films. The introduction of PT and WO3 was observed to promote electron transfer and retard recombination synergistically, leading to a significant improvement in cell performance. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. 摘要:
采用田间小区试验,研究不同肥料增效剂对南方丘陵地区水稻产量和肥料利用率的影响。结果表明:施肥量相同的条件下,施用肥料增效剂(双氰胺、氢醌、复合增效剂、多维肥精和聚天冬氨酸)能增加水稻有效穗0.9~2.1穗,增加每穗粒数3.4~10.6粒,水稻籽粒增产效果明显,增产幅度在3.51%~6.15%之间,施用双氰胺增产效果最好,产量达到7 982.8 kg/hm~2。肥料增效剂能够有效增加水稻养分积累量,提高肥料利用效率,双氰胺氮、钾肥料利用率最高,分别达到64.21%和48.45%,磷肥利用率为24.67%,仅次于氢醌。添加肥料增效剂氮、磷、钾肥料利用率分别提高2.29%~8.44%、3.91%~7.40%、2.90%~8.72%。

摘要:
ZnxBi2S3+x sensitized platelike WO3 photoelectrodes on FTO substrates were for the first time prepared via a sequential ionic layer adsorption reaction (SILAR) process. The samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), ultraviolet visible spectrometry (UV-vis), and Raman spectra. The results show that the ZnxBi2S3+x quantum dots (QDs) are uniformly coated on the entire surface of WO3 plates, forming a WO3/ZnxBi2S3+x core/shell structure. The ZnxBi2S3+x/WO3 films show a superior ability to capture visible light. High-efficiency photoelectrochemical (PEC) hydrogen generation is demonstrated using the prepared electrodes as photoanodes in a typical three-electrode electrochemical cell. Compared to the Bi2S3/WO3 photoelectrodes, the ZnxBi2S3+x/WO3 photoelectrodes exhibit good photostability and excellent PEC activity, and the photocurrent density is up to 7.0 mA cm-2 at -0.1 V versus Ag/AgCl under visible light illumination. Investigation of the electron transport properties of the photoelectrodes shows that the introduction of ZnS enhances the photoelectrons' transport rate in the photoelectrode. The high PEC activity demonstrates the potential of the ZnxBi2S3+x/WO3 film as an efficient photoelectrode for hydrogen generation. (Chemical Presented). © 2015 American Chemical Society.

摘要:
WO3 vertical plate-like arrays provide a direct pathway for charge transport, and thus hold great potential as working electrodes for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting. However, surface recombination due to surface defects hinders the performance improvement. In this work, WO3 vertical plate-like arrays films with HfO2 passivation layer were fabricated via a simple dip-coating method. In the images of transmission electron microscope, a fluffy layer and some small sphere particles existed on the surface of WO3 plate. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) showed a higher concentration of Hf element than the result of energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), which means that HfO2 is rich on the surface of WO3 plates. A higher photocurrent under visible light irradiation was gained with surface passivation. Meanwhile, the results of intensity modulated photocurrent spectrum (IMPS) and incident photon to current conversion efficiency (IPCE) indicate that HfO2 passivation layer, acting as a barrier for the interfacial recombination, is responsible for the improved photoelectrochemical performance of WO3 vertical plate-like arrays film.

In this paper, a novel Bi<inf>2</inf>S<inf>3</inf>/BiVO<inf>4</inf>heterojunction film was prepared by a facile drop-casting and hydrothermal method for the first time. The as-prepared films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and ultraviolet visible spectrometry (UV-Vis). Interestingly, the heterojunction film was formed by epitaxial growth of Bi<inf>2</inf>S<inf>3</inf>nanowires on BiVO<inf>4</inf>nanostructures and exhibited a good visible light absorption performance. Photoelectrochemical (PEC) hydrogen generation was demonstrated using the prepared films as photoanodes. The heterojunction photoelectrode showed an excellent PEC activity and generated a photocurrent density of 7.81 mA cm<sup>-2</sup>at 0.9761 V vs. RHE (0.1 V vs. Ag/AgCl) in the electrolyte solution containing 0.35 M Na<inf>2</inf>SO<inf>3</inf>and 0.25 M Na<inf>2</inf>S. The present study provides new insight into the design of highly efficient heterojunction photoelectrodes for hydrogen generation. ©The Royal Society of Chemistry 2015.

CuWO<inf>4</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf>heterojunction photoanode based on WO<inf>3</inf>plates arrays and CuWO<inf>4</inf>nanoparticles was fabricated to enhance the photoelectrochemical performance. WO<inf>3</inf>plates array films were prepared through a simple hydrothermal method, then a facile dipping-annealing process was employed to fabricate CuWO<inf>4</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf>films. The crystal structure, morphology, composition and optical properties of the samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and UV-vis spectrometry. As-prepared CuWO<inf>4</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf>heterojunction films achieved a photocurrent density of 1.21 mA/cm<sup>2</sup>at 1.5 V vs. Ag/AgCl, which was almost 2-fold higher than that of the pure WO<inf>3</inf>film (0.64 mA/cm<sup>2</sup>) under illumination. The enhanced photocurrent was attributed to the extension of visible light response, increased carriers density, effective separation at the interface of heterojunction and better electron transport properties, which were confirmed by Mott-Schottky and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. This study reveals that the low-dimensional morphological structure and heterojunction structure are expected to provide a promising photoanode for water splitting. In this study, WO<inf>3</inf>nanoplates modified by doping with gadolinium (Gd) were synthesized by a hydrothermal method. The effect of the rare-earth element on the photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance of WO<inf>3</inf>one- or two-dimensional (2D) materials was examined. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction were employed to examine the crystal phase and morphology of the Gd-doped nanoplates thus prepared. Results of UV-vis spectroscopy, valence-band (VB) X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Mott-Schottky analyses indicated that the conduction band and VB potentials of WO<inf>3</inf>shifted to negative values. Linear sweep voltammetry results indicated that the photocurrent density increased by 153% after modification by doping with Gd. In addition, the PEC properties of the WO<inf>3</inf>nanoplates obtained by the intensity-modulated photocurrent spectrum and incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency measurements indicated that modification by doping with Gd has a scintillating application in improving the PEC conversion properties of WO<inf>3</inf>-based 2D materials. ©2015 American Chemical Society.

In this work, a p-n heterojunction film consisting of n-type WO<inf>3</inf>and p-type CuFe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>4</inf>was synthesized via two steps. The n-type WO<inf>3</inf>film was deposited on the FTO substrate by a doctor-blade method and then modified with p-type CuFe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>4</inf>nanoparticles by a deposition-annealing method. The composite film was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, showing that the CuFe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>4</inf>nanoparticles were deposited on the surface of WO<inf>3</inf>film. Meanwhile, photoelectrochemical measurements were used to investigate the photoelectrochemical properties. A photocurrent of 0.75 mA cm<sup>-2</sup>at 0.6 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) was achieved with CuFe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>4</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf>, resulting in a 2.68 fold increase compared to pristine WO<inf>3</inf>. The presence of a p-n heterojunction facilitates the separation of photoinduced electrons and holes, leading to more efficient charge transfer, resulting in a significant improvement in PEC performance. ©2015 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

摘要:
In the present work, aluminum-doped plate-like tungsten oxide (WO3) photoelectrodes were investigated by photoelectrochemical methods in order to evaluate the possibility of their application in water splitting. The aluminum-doped plate-like WO3 films were prepared by hydrothermal method in nitric acid from a radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtered aluminum-tungsten layer on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass. The crystal structure, composition and morphology of pure and aluminum-doped WO3 were compared using x-ray diffraction (XRD), x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results indicate that aluminum can be doped into WO3 plate-like photoelectrodes by placing radio frequency magnetron sputtered aluminum-tungsten films using a facile hydrothermal method. Plate-like WO3 films doped with 0.77 atom% aluminum showed photocurrent density of 1.14 mA/cm(2) at 1.2 V vs. Ag/AgCl, which was 1.3 times higher than that of the pure WO3 (0.87 mA/cm(2)). Incident photon to current efficiency (IPCE) measurements carried out on photoelectrochemical (PEC) cell with aluminum-doped WO3 plate-like photoelectrodes as anodes demonstrated a significant increase of photoresponse in the intrinsic absorption range. Electrochemical impendence spectroscopy (EIS) showed that aluminum-doped WO3 possessed higher charge transfer rate and electrical conductivity than those of pristine WO3, thus presented a better performance in photoelectrochemical properties. 摘要:
镉是南方稻田土壤中主要的污染物质,可通过食物链危及动物和人类的健康。通过文献学分析发现土壤中镉污染的原位钝化技术研究中最常用的是施用石灰和硅肥,重点阐述了土壤中镉污染的原位钝化控制技术,包括石灰、赤泥、硅肥、钾肥、钙镁磷肥、粉煤灰等物质或肥料等无机改良剂,及禽畜粪便、作物秸秆、泥炭、豆科绿肥和堆肥等有机改良剂的应用效果,指出应加强原位钝化控制镉污染土壤及其最合适用量水平和施用方法的研究,尤其要关注如何合理利用原位钝化剂阻控土壤中镉的迁移。

摘要:
采用田间小区试验,研究不同包膜肥用量对早熟油菜‘湘杂油1613’产量及养分利用的影响。结果表明:单位面积包膜肥和普通肥施用量相等时,包膜肥处理的籽粒产量均高于普通肥处理,处理B4(施包膜肥1 500kg/hm~2)的籽粒产量最高,达2 066.97 kg/hm~2,处理B_3(施包膜肥2 250 kg/hm~2)次之,籽粒产量为1 929.97 kg/hm~2;普通肥处理A3(施普通肥2 250 kg/hm~2)与A4(施普通肥1 500 kg/hm~2)的产量差异较小,分别为1 844.50、1 839.40kg/hm~2,均低于等量包膜肥处理,且处理B_4的利润最高,达7 126.4元/hm~2,处理B_4比A_4增产12.37%,单位产量的包膜肥用量减少11.01%。包膜肥处理油菜生育期植株的氮、磷、钾素累积量和肥料利用率基本高于等量普通肥处理。综合考虑产量、利润等因素,在本试验范围内以施包膜肥1 500 kg/hm~2处理的效果较好。

摘要:
High chemical stability of WO<inf>3</inf> photoelectrode sensitized with CdS quantum dots (QDs) was reported for the first time using nano-TiO <inf>2</inf> as a buffer layer, permitting their stable operation for photoelectrochemical water splitting in a strongly alkaline electrolyte solution. The CdS QDs modification of the TiO<inf>2</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf> electrode resulted in an increase in the visible light absorption and exhibited a significant improvement in photoelectrochemical performance. The photocurrent density at -0.1 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) of the CdS QDs/TiO<inf>2</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf> electrode is 10 times higher than that of the TiO<inf>2</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf> electrode under visible light irradiation. The demonstrated strategies of utilizing a TiO<inf>2</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf> structure to protect the WO <inf>3</inf> electrode surface open up new opportunities for other WO <inf>3</inf> nanostructures. ©2014 Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
Development of precious metal-free catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is of great significance for the practical application of fuel cells. In this article, we report the finding that the C-N composites containing Fe and/or Co (C-PANI, Fe/C-PANI, Co/C-PANI, and FeCo/C-PANI), produced by directly pyrolyzing the Fe- and/or Co-doped polyaniline (PANI) precursors, show efficient electroactivity for ORR both in acidic and in alkaline media. Among the prepared catalysts, Fe/C-PANI and Co/C-PANI present the most positive ORR onset potential that is 0.61 V (vs. SCE) in 0.5 mol L<sup>-1</sup> H <inf>2</inf>SO<inf>4</inf> solution or -0.1 V (vs. SCE) in 1 mol L<sup>-1</sup> NaOH solution. In addition, the Fe/C-PANI catalyst shows the largest limiting-diffusion current density for ORR both in acidic and in alkaline media. A four-electron reaction of ORR on the Fe/C-PANI and Co/C-PANI catalysts is more dominant than a two-electron reaction. Fe/C-PANI catalyst also presents good electrocatalytic activity stability for ORR both in acidic and in alkaline media. ©2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.

摘要:
humic acid graft copolymer (PSt-g-HA) was prepared by graft copolymerization of Humic acid (HA) with styrene and the sorption of three selected organic pesticides, parathion-methyl, carbaryl and carbofuran by PSt-g-HA acid and untreated humic were also examined, respectively. The PSt-g-HA had relatively high aromatic carbons content because the grafted copolymerization of polystyrene entered into condensed domains in HA, whereas the removal of the polar function groups, such as carboxyl and phenolic hydroxyl group, was performed. For above reasons, the sorption capacity of three organic pesticides (parathion-methyl, carbaryl and carbofuran) on PSt-g-HA increased by 64.1% to 95.2%.

摘要:
通过小区对比试验,研究富硒植物营养素对高寒山区夏甜玉米植物学性状、经济性状、经济效益、外观品质、硒含量等方面的影响。结果表明:在玉米灌浆前期,叶面喷施富硒植物营养素,叶片保绿度大幅增加,鲜苞重和鲜穗重分别增加26.5%和24.0%,鲜粒重达到170 g,增幅达到43.9%,出籽率和百粒重分别增加了16.0%和28.7%;玉米硒含量达到0.17 mg/kg,达到富硒标准。

摘要:
NiWO<inf>4</inf>/WO<inf>3</inf> heterojunction photoanode was fabricated for the first time to enhance the photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance under visible light irradiation. Such a photoanode was prepared using a simple deposition-annealing method of NiWO<inf>4</inf> nanoparticles onto the surface of porous WO<inf>3</inf> films. It was found that the NiWO<inf>4</inf>/WO <inf>3</inf> film synthesized with 25 mM Ni(NO<inf>3</inf>)<inf>2</inf> in ethanol exhibited the best PEC performance, which achieved a 70% increase compared with the pure WO<inf>3</inf> film under similar conditions. The promising composite photoanode is desired to be employed for water splitting in the PEC cells. The heterojunction structure offers enhanced photoconversion efficiency and increased the density of carriers. This study reveals that introducing NiWO<inf>4</inf> into WO<inf>3</inf> films could facilitate the separation and restrain the recombination of photo-generated electron-hole pairs and accelerate the electrons transfer. Synthesis details are discussed, with film morphologies and structures characterized by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. ©2013 Published by Elsevier Ltd. 在田间条件下,研究了不同氮磷钾配比对‘湘杂油763’养分吸收、碳氮代谢产物和籽粒产量的影响。结果表明,游离氨基酸总量、可溶性糖含量和总量随施氮量的增加而增加,而磷钾肥对可溶性糖和游离氨基酸的影响没有表现出一致规律。随着氮肥和磷肥施用量的增加,氮磷积累量和籽粒产量都呈增加的趋势,而磷钾肥对其影响不及氮肥有规律。随着施肥量的增加,氮肥和钾肥利用率都呈减少的趋势,而磷肥利用率呈先增加后减少的趋势。在供试7种氮磷钾配比中,以处理E(N∶P_2O_5∶K_2O=1.00∶0.5∶0.5)的籽粒产量最高(2 231 kg.hm~(-2)),其次是处理K(N∶P_2O_5∶K_2O=1.00∶0.43∶0.57),籽粒产量为2 065 kg.hm~(-2)。产量构成因素中单株有效角果数对产量影响最大,其次每角果粒数,千粒重对产量影响较小。
