The invention discloses a method for conveniently detecting aluminum ions based on carbon quantum dots synthesized from flavonoid glycosides and derivatives thereof. The method comprises steps of synthesizing the blue fluorescent carbon quantum dots with emission peaks at 400-480nm by taking flavonoid glycosides and derivatives thereof as precursors; inducing the blue fluorescent carbon quantum dots to generate green fluorescence of which the emission peak is located at 490-580nm by using the aluminum ions; and then under ultraviolet irradiation, obtaining a carbon quantum dot color fluorescence picture induced by the aluminum ions, and analyzing the picture by utilizing an RGB method to detect the concentration of the aluminum ions. The method is advantaged in that the strategy for synthesizing the carbon quantum dots from the flavonoid glycosides and the derivatives thereof and constructing portable Al detection based on the carbon quantum dots is provided, the Al is quantified according to change of different fluorescence colors of the carbon quantum dots under ultraviolet irradiation, so fluorescence color changes of samples with different concentrations under ultraviolet irradiation can be analyzed by means of a smart phone and RGB analysis software, and rapid detection of metal ions can be achieved.
