How does graphene enhance the photoelectric conversion efficiency of dye sensitized solar cells? An insight from a theoretical perspective

The main goal of this work is to clearly answer the question from a theoretical perspective: how does graphene enhance the photoelectric conversion efficiency in the semiconducting layer of a dye sensitized solar cell? Several arrangements of the graphene layer between the dye molecule and the TiO 2 (101) surface are carefully studied and discussed. The dynamic interfacial electron propagations are simulated with consideration of the underlying nuclear motion effect. Theoretical investigation shows that graphene can speed up the electron injection from the dye molecules to the semiconductor layer, only when the graphene sheet is bonded to the TiO 2 surface via C-Ti bonds. The excited electrons of the dye molecules on the graphene sheet will be rapidly injected into the semiconducting layer. Additionally, if the graphene sheet is parallel to the TiO 2 surface, the free electrons on graphene can only hop onto the TiO 2 surface in a relatively long tunneling period. Therefore, graphene in this case mainly plays the role of a shielding layer for preventing the recombination of the electrons injected into TiO 2 and the electron holes remaining on the dye molecules or in the electrolyte. The combination of these two mechanisms indicates that graphene layers in the proper conformation can effectively improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of a dye sensitized solar cell. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Narrow-band red-emitting fluoride phosphors for wide color gamut LED backlights have evoked considerable attention, due to their fascinating optical properties. Unfortunately, poor moisture resistance often restricts their further applications in optoelectronics. Herein we developed a Cs 2 SiF 6 :Mn 4+ red phosphor using a lowerature co-precipitation method and passivating it by using H 2 O 2 . The phosphor shows a very high external quantum efficiency (EQE) of ∼85% and exhibits excellent moisture stability retaining 74% of its emission intensity after being exposed to high temperature (85 °C) and high humidity (85%) (HTHH) for 168 h. Finally, the high brightness white LED devices combined with the passivated Cs 2 SiF 6 :Mn 4+ exhibit high luminous efficacy of 133 lm W -1 and wide color gamut (∼84.7% NTSC). The results demonstrate that the passivated Cs 2 SiF 6 :Mn 4+ with high EQE and excellent moisture-resistance is promising as a narrow-band red emitting phosphor for wide color gamut LED backlights. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

摘要:
In this paper, we introduced a bluish violet emitting phosphor Ca3Al4ZnO10:Ti (IV) (CAZO:Ti⁴⁺) synthesized by high‐temperature solid‐state reaction. Upon 265 nm excitation, a broad emission band spanned from 300 nm to 500 nm and centered at 370 nm was observed. In addition, the effects of flux and charge compensation to photoluminescence properties of CAZO:Ti⁴⁺ were systematically investigated. The results show that 103% improvement of emission intensity was achieved when 1% H3BO3 flux was introduced and 32.8% enhancement of it for 2% Ca²⁺ vacancies doped as charge compensator. Moreover, the lifetimes, band gap energy, concentration quenching mechanism as well as electron transition process of CAZO:Ti⁴⁺ were discussed. Due to the efficient broad bluish violet emitting, this phosphor may find a potential application in mercury vapor‐excited fluorescent lamp for plant growth. This article is protected by copyright. The desymmetrization of prochiral 4,4-disubstituted cyclopentenes via a site-selective copper-catalyzed allylic oxidation is described. This study provides a direct comparison of a series of known methods for allylic oxidation, and thus identifies ligand-free copper(i) iodide as the optimal catalyst for this particular process. Notably, this work offers a convenient approach to the preparation of γ-quaternary α,β-unsaturated cyclopentenones, which permits an efficient three-step total synthesis of (±)-untenone A. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

摘要:
Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have been widely investigated owing to their potential applications as optoelectronic devices. However, these materials suffer from poor water stability, which make them impossible to be applied in biomedicine. Here, insoluble CsPbBr3/CsPb2Br5 composite NCs were successfully synthesized via simple water-assisted chemical transformation of perovskite NCs. Water plays two key roles in this synthesis: (i) stripping CsBr from CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6 and (ii) modifying the coordination number of Pb2+ (six in CsPbBr3 and Cs4PbBr6 vs eight in CsPb2Br5). The as-prepared CsPbBr3/CsPb2Br5 composite NCs not only retain the photoluminescence quantum yield (up to 80%) and a narrow full width to half-maximum of 16 nm, but also present excellent water stability and low cytotoxicity. With these properties, the CsPbBr3/CsPb2Br5 composite NCs were demonstrated as efficient fluorescent probes in live HeLa cells. We believe that our finding not only provides a new method to prepare insoluble, narrow-band, and brightly luminescent CsPbBr3/CsPb2Br5 composite NCs, but also extend the potential applications of lead halides in biomedicine. © 2019 American Chemical Society.

摘要:
Mn4+ activated Ca14Ga10Zn6O35 (CGZO)have attracted much attention for the usages of white light-emitting-diodes (WLEDs), solar cells and plant growth LEDs. In this paper, we conducted chemical unit engineering in CGZO:Mn4+ by substituting Ge4+-M+ (M = Li, Na, K)for Ga3+-Ca2+. The impacts of Ge4+-M+ (M = Li, Na, K)substitution on the crystal structure, photoluminescence properties, quantum efficiency (QE)and thermal stability were investigated systematically. With the increase of Ge4+-Li+/Na+ and Ge4+-K+, the diffraction peaks moved towards higher and lower angle, respectively. The greatest improvement of emission intensity in Ge4+-Li+/Na+/K+ co-doped CGZO:Mn4+ reached up to 169.4%, 195.0% and 198.9%. Moreover, an obvious red shift (∼3.6 nm)was detected in Ge4+-Li+ case and this change was interpreted by Tanabe–Sugano diagram. The IQE and EQE of Ge4+-Li+/Na+/K+ co-doped CGZO:Mn4+ showed remarkable improvements. The highest values of IQE and EQE were found to be 50.9% and 38.9% in Ge4+-K+ incorporated sample. Furthermore, conducting chemical unit engineering in CGZO:Mn4+ could slightly enhance its thermal stability. The configurational coordinated diagram was employed to understand this enhancement comprehensively. Finally, LED devices were fabricated by using Ge4+-Li+ co-doped CGZO:Mn4+ phosphor as light convertor. The excellent electronic luminescence (EL)properties and matchable emission with the absorption of plant pigments demonstrating that these phosphors have promising application in plant growth LED lighting. © 2019 Elsevier B.V.

We synthesized a series of Bi3+ doped and Bi3+ and Mn4+ co-doped Ca3Al4ZnO10 (CAZO) phosphors via a conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction (SSR). Upon excitation at 330 nm, CAZO:Bi3+ shows blue-violet emission with a peak located at 405 nm. Under the same excitation source, Bi3+ and Mn4+ co-doped CAZO phosphors show dual emission, where the blue-violet emission is mainly from the 3P1 → 1S0 transition of Bi3+ and the far red emission is attributed to the 2E → 4A2 transition of Mn4+. The intrinsic great overlap between the emission band of Bi3+ and the excitation band of Mn4+ indicates the occurrence of energy transfers from Bi3+ to Mn4+. Fluorescence decays and photoluminescence spectra were measured to investigate the energy transfer process. The energy transfer efficiencies were also calculated. The relative emission intensities of Bi3+ and Mn4+ can be easily controlled by adjusting the concentrations of raw materials. It is demonstrated that the emission of CAZO:Bi3+,Mn4+ matches well with the absorption of four dominating pigments in plants, implying that the as-prepared phosphors are suitable to be applied in agricultural fields. © 2018 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

石蒜富含重要药用成分加兰他敏,为了优化石蒜中加兰他敏的微波提取工艺,以石蒜为原料、乙醇作提取剂,研究微波功率、料液比、温度、提取时间及次数等单个因素对微波法提取加兰他敏的影响,用正交实验L9(34)确定最佳工艺条件,并与超声波法进行比较。结果显示:用微波法提取石蒜中加兰他敏的最佳条件为料液比1:7,提取温度45℃,微波功率350 W,提取时间7 min;在提取2次的情况下,加兰他敏的提取率达95.8%,产率达0.0549%,粗提取物中加兰他敏含量达15.15%。用微波法提取石蒜中加兰他敏具有提取温度低、时间短、提取率高等优点,整体效果优于超声波法。

文献是学科前沿研究动态的集中体现,要提升学生的科研创新能力必须掌握文献查阅技能。结合《文献检索》课程教学经验,提出对于该课程应加强实践改革,并从自身经验与体会出发开展了初步试验探索。初探内容包括:从大学生创新项目申报的角度树立文献查阅的目标,激发学生的学习兴趣,采用"现学现用、活学活用"模式保障实践跟上理论,利用投影仪、画板展示等手段提高学生的主动性和积极性,引入研讨会和竞赛机制进一步巩固知识。试验证明,加强实践环节有利于促进学生对文献检索知识与技能的掌握,值得在农业性院校的本科教学中推广。

摘要:
为获得微波提取火棘果渣黄色素的最佳提取工艺条件,以野生火棘果渣为原料,乙醇溶液为溶剂,探讨了微波功率、料液比、提取时间、提取次数等因素对微波法提取火棘黄色素的影响。通过L_9(3~4)正交实验获得了火棘黄色素提取的最佳工艺条件,即:微波功率600W,料液比1:10g/mL,提取时间50s,提取4次;黄色素的提取率91.2%,产率1.8%,色价24.1。并与常规溶剂法进行了比较,结果显示,微波法具有提取时间短、提取次数少、纯度高等优点,总体效率优于常规溶剂法。

摘要:
随着人们对环境污染和食品安全的关注,分子印迹固相萃取技术在各领域的应用有了进一步发展。在介绍分子印迹固相萃取技术的基础上,对近年来分子印迹固相萃取技术在环境样品中农药残留的检测,食品及饲料中药物残留的检测,功能药物成分提纯及药物检测,水土环境中的其它污染物检测等4大方面的研究现状进行了综述。同时,指出了分子印迹固相萃取技术目前存在的问题,探讨了分子印迹固相萃取技术未来的发展方向。

摘要:
以吲哚-3-乙酸(indole-3-acetic acid,IAA)为模板、甲基丙烯酸为功能单体、乙腈为致孔剂,采用本体聚合法合成了对IAA有特异性识别的吲哚-3-乙酸分子印迹聚合物(IAA-MIP)。红外光谱分析表明,IAA是以氢键形式结合在聚合物的空腔中。等温吸附线及Scatchard分析表明,洗脱模板后的IAA-MIP结合IAA的能力比空白印迹聚合物(NIP)强,且有2种结合方式,其解离常数分别为KD1=1.04×10-6 mol·L-1和KD2=9.23×10-6 mol·L-1,最大表观结合位点分别为Bmax1=0.10μmol·g-1和Bmax2=0.28μmol·g-1。对植物样品的固相萃取实验表明,洗脱模板后的IAA-MIP对IAA具有较强的特异性吸附能力。

摘要:
为了探明控释肥包衣剂的控释性能,参考国标GB/T 8572-2001对样品进行前处理,测定样品中N、P、K含量,并测定包衣肥中养分初期释放率、微分释放率和养分累积释率。结果显示:包衣肥中养分N、P、K的初期释放率〈15%,其中N的初期释放率大于P和K的初期释放率;与未包衣的对照肥相比,包衣肥养分N、P、K的初期释放率均明显降低,包衣肥中养分的释放更均匀平稳,能够满足作物生长中对养分的需求,提高肥料利用率,表明控释肥包衣剂的控释性能良好。

摘要:
为了获得早稻种子包衣肥的制备条件,探明其理化性质,探讨了肥料用量、种子负载率、包膜剂用量、包衣方式、烘燥时间等单因素对早稻种子包衣肥制备效果的影响,用正交实验L_9(3~4)确定了早稻种子包衣肥制备的最佳条件;并测定其pH、黏度、成膜性、成膜时间、丸衣水中裂开时间、包衣均匀度、包衣脱落率等理化性质。早稻种子包衣肥的最佳制备条件为:肥料用量100 g/kg,种子负载率500 g/kg,包膜剂用量1 g/kg、包衣方式A-B,烘燥时间40 min。理化性质测定结果显示:pH为6.90,黏度为9.23 mPa/s,成膜性中等,成膜时间7.5 min,丸衣水中裂开时间6.5 min,包衣均匀度95.0%,包衣脱落率9.2%,表明制备的早稻种子包衣肥理化性质良好。
