Soil organic carbon mineralization with fresh organic substrate and inorganic carbon additions in a red soil is controlled by fungal diversity along a pH gradient

摘要:
Straw return and liming are important agronomic practices to enable farming in red soils of China. Organic substrates and inorganic carbon have an important effect on soil pH in red soils, but the mechanisms underlying soil organic carbon (SOC) mineralization by soil microorganisms due to pH change have been little studied. Therefore, we measured SOC mineralization, the priming effect, microbial biomass carbon (MBC), and bacterial and fungal community abundance, diversity, and composition during a 100-day incubation experiment. The experimental treatments included no exogenous addition (control), addition of 14C-labeled rice straw, addition of 14C-labeled CaCO3, and a combination of 14C-labeled rice straw and CaCO3. 14C-labeled CaCO3 significantly increased soil pH after 100 days of incubation, while 14C-labeled rice straw significantly decreased soil pH after 30 days of incubation. The priming effects per exogenous unit carbon with the additions of 14C-labeled rice straw and 14C-labeled CaCO3 were 0.057% and 0.021%, respectively. MBC was significantly higher under the 14C–labeled CaCO3 treatment than under the 14C-labeled rice straw treatment and combination treatment. There was no significant difference between 14C-labeled rice straw and the combination treatment. Soil bacteria and fungi were significantly more abundant in all the treatment groups than in the control, but both gradually decreased after 100 days of incubation. Bacteria and fungi showed higher diversity after 100 days than after one day of incubation. SOC mineralization was significantly directly affected by fungal diversity and indirectly affected by pH and bacterial diversity. It suggests that liming significantly increases soil pH and decreases fungal diversity, which benefits to SOC mineralization. These results also suggest that soil fungal communities dominate SOC turnover after liming to change soil pH, and soil fungi have more important effects on soil carbon cycling than do bacteria in acid soil. © 2018

摘要:
以芘作为外源荧光探针,采用牛血清蛋白作为参照,考察了转基因抗虫蛋白Cry1Ac与4种表面活性剂相互作用的荧光光谱特征.结果表明,鼠李糖脂和Tween 80体系的芘荧光行为有相似的变化规律,可与蛋白质发生稳定的缔合过程.Cry1Ac蛋白的亲水性和分子极性较强,在表面活性剂浓度低时,可导致芘的I1/I3值较高.在阴离子、非离子表面活性剂胶团形成后,2种蛋白质的存在均不改变芘与表面活性剂的结合位点.十六烷基三甲基溴化铵对芘的荧光有一定猝灭作用,且在Cry1Ac蛋白介入下不能形成稳定的胶束.

摘要:
The analysis was performed to research the speciation and bioavailability of heavy metals in manures and the biochars obtained from pyrolysis of swine and goat manures. Manures were pyrolyzed at different temperatures (200–800 °C). The concentrations of heavy metals in biochars were found to be higher than those in manures. The remaining ratios of heavy metals in biochar decreased with increasing pyrolysis temperature. Our results demonstrated that heavy metal speciation in biochar was strongly impacted by pyrolysis temperature. The bioavailable heavy metal fractions (acid soluble/exchangeable fraction and reducible fraction) were transformed into the relatively stable fraction (oxidizable fraction) and very stable fraction (residual fraction) during pyrolysis. Moreover, the data of diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA), HCl extraction, and toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP) in biochar indicated that bioavailability and toxicity of heavy metals in biochar were greatly reduced after pyrolysis. In summary, the pyrolysis process at 500 °C can provide a practical way to decline the bioavailability of heavy metals in manure. Biochar obtained from manure pyrolyzed at 800 °C may minimize the direct and potential heavy metal toxicities of biochar to the environment.<br/> ©2018 Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
In this study, zero valent iron (ZVI) activated peroxymonosulfate (PMS) as novel technique (i.e. ZVI-PMS technology) was employed to enhance sludge dewatering. In optimal sludge dewatering conditions of ZVI and KHSO5 dosages, the specific resistance to filtration (SRF) was reduced by 83.6%, which was further decreased to 90.6% after combination of ZVI-PMS with thermal treatment at 50 °C (i.e. ZVI-PMS-T technology). Subsequently, the ESR spectrum and quenching tests demonstrated that OH[rad], rather than SO4 [rad]−, was predominant radicals in ZVI-PMS conditioning. Thereafter, the variation of physicochemical properties and the distributions and compositions of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) were further investigated to uncover the influence of these techniques on sludge bulk properties. The results indicated that sludge particles were disintegrated into smaller particles and surface charges were neutralized, sludge flowability were elevated obviously after treatments. In ZVI cycle experiment, the high dewatering efficiency was maintained by ZVI-PMS and ZVI-PMS-T pretreatment. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd

摘要:
为研究牛肉宰后成熟过程中凋亡诱导因子(AIF)介导细胞凋亡及溶酶体组织蛋白酶参与AIF活化机制,选取6头西门塔尔杂交牛进行屠宰,取其背最长肌于4℃条件下成熟,在不同成熟时间点(0、6、12、24、72、120、168 h)进行活性氧(ROS)相对含量、溶酶体膜稳定性、组织蛋白酶活性、线粒体膜通透性、AIF表达及细胞核形态的测定。结果表明,宰后成熟过程中,牛肉ROS相对含量呈先降低后升高的趋势(P<0.05);溶酶体膜稳定性逐渐降低(P<0.05);组织蛋白酶B、D和L的活性逐渐升高(P<0.05);线粒体膜通透性增大(P<0.05);AIF在线粒体中的表达量于宰后12 h显著升高,在之后的成熟时间降低(P<0.05),AIF在细胞核中的表达呈上升的趋势(P<0.05),与线粒体中的下降趋势相一致;细胞核体积逐渐增大、部分核溶解,并伴随细胞间隙变大的现象。表明牛肉在宰后成熟过程中生成ROS,ROS的累积导致溶酶体膜稳定性失衡,使组织蛋白酶被释放,作用于线粒体,之后线粒体膜通透性发生变化,释放AIF,活化的AIF进入细胞核内诱导凋亡发生。

摘要:
与稻田土壤碳周转密切相关的酶活性是评价土壤肥力和肥料管理的重要指标.本研究选取秸秆还田(ST) 、化肥(NPK)和不施肥(CK)的长期定位试验田,以10 cm的间距分段采集土壤剖面0 ~ 40 cm范围内的新鲜土样,利用96微孔酶标板荧光分析法,测定参与土壤碳氮转化过程关键酶β-1,4-葡萄糖苷酶(BG)和β-1,4 -N-乙酰氨基葡萄糖苷酶(NAG)活性,探讨不同施肥措施对不同深层土壤酶活的影响.结果表明,相比不施肥的土壤,施用化肥和秸秆土壤的BG酶活性分别提高了35% ~ 118%和55% ~ 342%; NAG酶活性分别提高了9% ~ 30%和102% ~ 484%.同时,随着土层深度的增加,土壤酶活性逐渐降低,0 ~ 20 cm深层土壤酶活性显著高于20 ~ 40 cm深层土壤.在不同施肥措施中秸秆还田可高程度影响稻田深层土壤. RDA分析表明土壤碳氮含量主要与0 ~ 20 cm的土壤酶活性有显著的正相关关系,与20 ~ 40 cm的土壤酶活性呈负相关关系.综上所述,随着土壤深度增加土壤微生物量和土壤酶活性显著降低.长期施肥显著提高了不同深层土壤生物量和土壤酶活性,其中秸秆还田作用尤为突出.因此,合理的秸杆还田有利于改善稻田深层土壤肥力,优化农田土壤养分循环,为作物生长提供良好的土壤环境.

摘要:
A novel graphene-based material of tea saponin functionalized reduced graphene oxide (TS-RGO) was synthesized via a facil thermal method, and it was characterized as the absorbent for Cd(II) removal from aqueous solutions. The factors on adsorption process including solution pH, contact time, initial concentration of Cd(II) and background electrolyte cations were studied to optimize the conditions for maximum adsorption at room temperature. The results indicated that Cd(II) adsorption was strongly dependent on pH and could be strongly affected by background electrolytes and ionic strength. The optimal pH and required equilibrium time was 6.0 and 10 min, respectively. The Cd(II) removal decreased with the presence of background electrolyte cations (Na<sup>+</sup><Ca<sup>2+</sup><Al<sup>3+</sup>). The adsorption kinetics of Cd(II) followed well with the pseudo-second-order model. The adsorption isotherm fitted well to the Langmuir model, indicating that the adsorption was a monolayer adsorption process occurred on the homogeneous surfaces of TS-RGO. The maximum monolayer adsorption capacity was 127 mg/g at 313 K and pH 6.0. 摘要:
Functional trait approaches have greatly improved the mechanistic understanding of the impacts of biodiversity in ecosystem. We evaluated how hydrological gradients (i.e., soil water content and elevation) affected the taxonomic diversity, functional identity, and functional diversity and assessed how changes in these measures of diversity ultimately drove variations in above-ground biomass (AGB). Results showed that a combination of hydrological gradients and functional trait composition (i.e., the community weighted means, the single-trait functional diversity and the multiple-trait functional diversity) better explained variations (40.8%) of AGB. No significant relationships between taxonomic diversity and AGB were observed. The dominant species became taller with thicker stem, and co-occurring species showed greater divergent distribution of stem diameter towards higher soil water content. As elevation increased, the dominant plant had thinner leaves with later onset of flowering and longer flowering duration, and co-occurring species showed less divergent distribution of lamina thickness and leaf dry-mass content. Our results highlighted that the positive biodiversity–ecosystem functioning relations were largely attributed to the co-operations of selection and complementary effects, as evidences showed that the dominant trait values (i.e., community weighted mean of shoot height) and trait diversity (i.e., functional evenness) improved biomass production of wetland plants. A series of three-stage pilot-scale surface flow constructed wetlands (CWs) planted with Myriophyllum aquaticum were fed with three strengths of lagoon-pretreated swine wastewater to study nitrogen (N) removal and recovery under sustainable plant harvesting management. The CWs had mean removal efficiency of 87.7–97.9% for NH4+-N and 85.4–96.1% for total N (TN). The recovered TN mass via multiple harvests of M. aquaticum was greatest (120–222 g N m−2 yr−1) when TN concentrations were 21.8–282 mg L−1. The harvested TN mass accounted for 0.85–100% of the total removal in the different CW units. Based on mass balance estimation, plant uptake, sediment storage, and microbial removal accounted for 13.0–55.0%, 4.9–8.0%, and 33.0–67.5% of TN loading mass, respectively. The results of this study confirm that M. aquaticum is appropriate for the removal and recovery of nutrients in CW systems designed for treating swine wastewater in conjunction with sustainable plant harvesting strategies. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd

In this work, P. chrysogenum strain F1-ferrihydrite composites (PFC) were applied to the bioremediation of polluted mimic wastewater with high concentration (50–500 mg/L) of arsenic. An interesting phenomenon was discovered that the PFC was formed in situ in the process of removal of As(III), which can greatly improve their practical application in separation and reutilization. The results showed that optimum removal efficiency achieved 81.23% for As(III) at an initial concentration of 100 mg/L that also could be up to 75.00% at 200 mg/L with composite sorbent PFC. According to the adsorption isotherms and kinetics experiments, the adsorption reaction included both physical adsorption and chemical adsorption. The formation of composite PFC significantly promoted the sorption of As(III) ion between biomass and ferrihydrite from aqueous. The adsorption rates and capacities for arsenic were both enhanced markedly than biomass and ferrihydrite individually as well. Adsorption-desorption experiment indicated PFC maintained to a dominant with 74.47% of removal efficiency over 3 cycles. This research demonstrated that PFC has great potential in removing high concentration of As(III) from wastewater. © 2018

Genetically modified Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) crops, which have been widely used in agricultural transgenic plants, express insecticidal Cry proteins and release the toxin into soils. Taking into consideration the environmental risk of Cry proteins, biosurfactant—rhamnolipids were applied to desorb Cry proteins from soil environment, which has not been elucidated before. Quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM-D) was used in this article to investigate the adsorption and desorption behaviors of Cry1Ac on SiO<inf>2</inf>surface (model soil). Results showed that patch-controlled electrostatic attraction (PCEA) governed Cry1Ac adsorption to SiO<inf>2,</inf>and the solution pH or ionic strength can affect PCEA. The adsorption kinetics could be fitted by the pseudo-second-order model, and the adsorption isotherm was fitted to Langmuir model with correlation coefficients higher than 0.999. The desorption characteristics of Cry1Ac from SiO<inf>2</inf>were assessed in the presence of mono-rhamnolipid, di-rhamnolipid or complex-rhamnolipid. Mono-rhamnolipid exhibited the most significant positive effect on desorption performance. With a complete removal of Cry1Ac reached when mono-rhamnolipid concentration was up to 50 mg L<sup>−1</sup>. Additionally, the desorption was enhanced at alkaline pH range, and Cry1Ac can be completely and rapidly desorbed by rhamnolipids from SiO<inf>2</inf>at ionic strength of 5 × 10<sup>−2</sup> M. ©2017 Elsevier B.V.

Construction of heterojunctions is generally adopted to improve photocatalytic activity by enhancing photogenerated charge separation. In this study, metal-free phosphorus-doped g-C3N4 (PCN) and g-C3N4 (CN) isotype heterojunctions (PCN/CN) were prepared by a facile calcination strategy to significantly enhance the charge separation. The band offset between PCN and CN could drive the transfer of photogenerated electron-hole pairs, which helped reduce the recombination and prolong the lifetime of photoinduced charges. The optimum photocatalytic activity of PCN/CN composite for tetracycline degradation was approximately 3.8 and 2.8 times higher than that of pure CN and PCN, respectively; it also exhibited remarkable stability and repeatability. The possible mechanism was ascribed to efficient separation of photogenerated charges as well as promoted visible light absorption and enlarged surface area. The coupling of heterostructures between PCN and CN is an excellent method to overcome the intrinsic drawbacks of CN for photocatalytic wastewater purification. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.

In this work, the mesoporous iron-aluminum (Fe-Al) bimetallic particles were synthesized and employed for the removal of As(III) from aqueous solution. The manufacturing method of Fe-Al bimetallic particles was optimized. Through exploring the proportion and the order added of Fe-Al components, conclusion can be got that the best molar ratio is nFe:nAl<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>= 1:0.2. The Fe-Al bimetallic particles were characterized by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscope (XPS) and Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR). The ability of removing As(III) from aqueous solution was investigated at different adsorption conditions (e.g., temperature, pH value, dosage and adsorption time). The absorption efficiency of the composite materials in alkaline solution was higher than that in the acidic solution. Furthermore, the As(III) removal mechanism was also investigated, indicated that the removal of As(III) is a complex process including surface adsorption, oxidation and co-precipitation. The relative good As(III) removal capability of the simple synthetic of Fe-Al bimetallic particles exhibited its great potential as an effective and environmental friendly agent for As(III) removal from water. ©2017 Elsevier B.V.

Bacterial wilt, caused by Ralstonia solanacearum, occurs occasionally during tobacco planting and potentially brings huge economic losses in affected areas. Soil microbes in different management stages play important roles in influencing bacterial wilt incidence. Studies have focused on the impacts of species diversity and composition during cropping periods on disease morbidity; however, the effects of the soil bacterial biomass, species diversity, species succession, and population interactions on morbidity remain unclear during non-cropping periods. In this study, we explored the soil bacterial communities in the non-cropping winter fallow (WF) and cropping late growing (LG) periods under consecutive monoculture systems using 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing and qPCR and further analyzed their effects on tobacco bacterial wilt incidence. We found that the bacterial communities in the WF period were significantly different from those in the LG period based on detrended correspondence analysis and dissimilarity tests. Crop morbidity was significantly related to bacterial community structure and to the presence of some genera during WF and LG periods. These genera, such as Arthrobacter, Pseudomonas, Acidobacteria GP6, and Pasteuria, may be potential biological control agents for bacterial wilt. Further analysis indicated that low soil bacterial diversity during the WF period, decrease of bacterial interactions from the WF to LG periods, and low soil biomass during the LG period all have the potential to increase morbidity. In conclusion, an increase of soil bacterial diversity and control of some bacterial abundances in the WF period might be an effective approach in controlling bacterial wilt incidence. © 2018, Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Metals released into the environment continue to be of concern for human health. Using white-rot fungi as biosorbents for heavy metals removal is an attractive alternative owing to its good performance and low cost. However, the molecular mechanism underlying heavy metal tolerance in white-rot fungi has not yet been fully elucidated. This study identified and analyzed the lead (Pb)-induced transcriptional changes in Phanerochaete chrysosporium, a well-known heavy metal hyperaccumulating white-rot fungus. The results confirmed its outstanding ability in Pb tolerance and effective defense system. By comparative analysis of gene expression profiles obtained from cDNA-amplified fragment length polymorphism (cDNA-AFLP), we isolated 43 transcript-derived fragments (TDFs) differentially regulated by Pb exposure in P. chrysosporium, and 23 TDFs presented significant similarities to genes encoding known or putative proteins which belong to different functional categories involving ion binding, energy and carbohydrate metabolism, and signal transduction. The detailed characterization of these Pb-responsive genes was presented and the expression patterns of some interesting genes were validated by quantitative RT-PCR. This work provides the first evidence of Pb-responsive genes along with their putatively functional annotations in P. chrysosporium, which may help to understand the mechanism underlying heavy metal accumulation and tolerance in P. chrysosporium. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd

Interspecific trait variability (e.g., functional diversity) is often correlated with community productivity and thus promotes ecosystem stability. However, we know little about how intraspecific trait variability mediated the effects of environmental gradients on population stability. We applied generalized multilevel path models to investigate multivariate causal hypotheses that environmental effects on population stability of a macrophyte species - Potamogeton maackianus - are mediated by physiological and morphological traits variability. Using a hierarchical nested design, we measured quarterly nine physiological traits, and monthly ten morphological traits from 9720 individuals at 27 plots along water depth gradients in Lake Erhai, China. Results showed that changes in water depth and light availability caused significant shifts in intraspecific trait variability, with cascading direct and indirect effects on temporal stability of P. maackianus. Water depth exerted major control over population stability, both directly and indirectly via shifts in morphological and physiological traits. Light availability affected population stability indirectly by altering morphological traits. Size traits (shoot morphology and root/shoot ratio) and metabolic traits captured the effect of water depth and light availability on population stability with a relative high accuracy. Our study provide a strong support to the hypothesis that intraspecific trait variability mediate the combined effects of variations on water depth and light conditions on the temporal stability of a dominant macrophtye species in Lake Erhai. Maintaining and enhancing trait variability within plant populations may help to buffer negative effects of anthropogenic environmental changes on population stability. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd

Fetal growth, survival, and development are benchmarks for the production performance of sows, and methionine has been shown to impact fetal protein mass and the transport of nutrients through the uteroplacental vasculature. This study evaluated the effects of dietary methionine, administered during the late gestation period, on the production performance of sows. Specifically, it measured the effect of methionine on biochemical indicators in the plasma, plasma metabolites, and fecal bacterial communities. Thirty Landrace × Large White sows at day 90 of gestation were randomly assigned to three groups and fed the following diets: (1) a basal diet containing 0.36% methionine; (2) a basal diet + 0.12% methionine (0.48% methionine); and (3) a basal diet + 0.24% methionine (0.60% methionine). The results showed that the 0.48% methionine diet significantly (P < 0.05) increased piglets' birth weight, and the 0.60% methionine diet significantly (P < 0.05) improved the survival ratio. Dietary methionine lowered the triglyceride (TG) levels (P < 0.05), total bilirubin (BILT3) (P < 0.001) concentration, and gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) (P < 0.05) enzyme activity in the plasma at farrowing. In the plasma metabolomics, dietary methionine increased plasma pyroglutamic acid and decreased 2-pyrrolidinone, hypotaurine, and anyl-histidine in both the 0.48% methionine and 0.60% methionine groups. In addition, the bacteria richness (Chao1 and ACE) and diversity (Shannon) were reduced in the 0.48% methionine group. For the microbiota composition, at the family level, the 0.48% methionine group had a significant increase (P < 0.05) in the relative abundance of Methanobacteriaceae compared to the other two groups, but a decrease in the relative abundance of Enterobacteriaceae, Ruminococcaceae and Erysipelotrichaceae compared to the 0.60% methionine group. In conclusion, a diet consisting of 0.48% methionine administered during the late gestation period can improve the production performance of sows and maintain their health. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.

The activated sludge process has been successfully used to treat propylene oxide (PO) saponification wastewater, which has the characteristics of high chlorine contents (22 000-26 000 mg L<sup>-1</sup>) and high COD (more than 2000 mg L<sup>-1</sup>). Microorganisms, especially bacteria, play an important role in PO saponification wastewater treatment processes. Analysis of the bacterial composition of the aeration tank and contact oxidation tank, the two main components of PO saponification wastewater treatment plants (SWWTP), revealed their significant community difference in municipal and coking wastewater treatment plants. Interestingly, β-Proteobacteria was almost absent in the PO SWWTP, which was usually abundant in various bio-treatment systems. In the aeration tank of PO SWWTP, the most abundant genera were Marinobacter, Mesorhizobium, Paracoccus, Devosia, Methylophaga and KSA1. In the contact oxidation tank of PO SWWTP, the most abundant genera were Thalassospira, Marinobacter, Owenweeksia, Novispirillum, Mesorhizobium, Sporotomaculum, Pseudidiomarina and KSA1. We also measured the total components and toxicity of PO saponification wastewater in order to establish correlations between bacterial stains, genes and their treatment capacity. The results indicated that most of the bacteria encoded the dehalogenase gene and played an important role in the dechlorinating process of chlorinated organics in the aeration tank. In contrast, most of the bacteria encode the alkJ gene in the contact oxidation tank, which was involved in the degradation of 2,4-dimethyl-2-pentanol or some dechlorinated intermediate products. This study would provide new insight into the microbial community compositions of PO SWWTPs. ©2017 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Modification of biochar derived from sawdust and its application in removal of tetracycline and copper from aqueous solution: Adsorption mechanism and modelling

摘要:
Highly efficient simultaneous removal of Cu(II) and tetracycline (TET) from aqueous solution was accomplished by iron and zinc doped sawdust biochar (Fe/Zn-biochar). The mutual effects and inner mechanisms of their adsorption onto Fe/Zn-biochar were systematically investigated via sole and binary systems, sorption isotherm and adsorption kinetics models. The liquid-film diffusion step might be the rate-limiting step for tetracycline, the interaction of Cu(II) was more likely controlled by both intra particle diffusion model and liquid film diffusion model. The fitting of experimental data with kinetic models, Temkin model indicates that the adsorption process of tetracycline and Cu(II) involve chemisorption, and physico-chemical adsorption, respectively. There exists site competition and enhancement of Cu(II) and tetracycline on the sorption to Fe/Zn-biochar. The results of this study indicate that modification of biochar derived from sawdust shows great potential for simultaneous removal of Cu(II) and tetracycline from co-contaminated water. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd

Arsenic (As) exposure from rice consumption has now become a global health issue. This study aimed to investigate the effects of rice rhizosphere oxic conditions on silicate transporter (responsible for arsenite transportation) expressions, and on As accumulation and speciation in four rice genotypes, including two hybrid genotypes (Xiangfengyou9, Shenyou9586) and two indica subspecies (Xiangwanxian17, Xiangwanxian12). Oxic and anoxic treatments have different effects on root length (p < 0.001) and weight (p < 0.05). Total As concentrations in roots were dramatically lower in oxic treatments (88.8–218 mg/kg), compared to anoxic treatments (147–243 mg/kg) (p < 0.001). Moreover, root and shoot arsenite concentrations in oxic treatments were lower than that in anoxic treatments in arsenite treatments. The relative abundance of silicate transporter expressions displayed a trend of down-regulation in oxic treatments compared to anoxic treatments, especially significantly different for Xiangwanxian17, Xiangwanxian12 in Lsi1 expressions (p < 0.05), Xiangfengyou9, Shenyou9586, Xiangwanxian17 in Lsi2 expressions (p < 0.05). However, there were no significant differences of transporter expressions in different As treatments and genotypes. It may be a possible reason for low As accumulation in rice growing aerobically compared to flooded condition and a potential route to reduce the health risk of As in rice. ©2016 Elsevier Ltd
