摘要:
Tolypocladium guangdongense has a similar metabolite profile to Ophiocordyceps sinensis, a highly regarded fungus used for traditional Chinese medicine with high nutritional and medicinal value. Although the genome sequence of T. guangdongense has been reported, relatively little is known about the regulatory networks for fruiting body development and about the metabolite biosynthesis pathways. In order to address this, an analysis of transcriptome and proteome at differential developmental stages of T. guangdongense was performed. In total, 9076 genes were found to be expressed and 2040 proteins were identified. There were a large number of genes that were significantly differentially expressed between the mycelial stage and the stages. Interestingly, the correlation between the transcriptomic and proteomic data was low, suggesting the importance of the post-transcriptional processes in the growth and development of T. guangdongense. Among the genes/proteins that were both differentially expressed during the developmental process, there were numerous heat shock proteins and transcription factors. In addition, there were numerous proteins involved in terpenoid, ergosterol, adenosine and polysaccharide biosynthesis that also showed significant downregulation in their expression levels during the developmental process. Furthermore, both tryptophan and tryptamine were present at higher levels in the primordium stage. However, indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) levels continuously decreased as development proceeded, and the enzymes involved in IAA biosynthesis were also clearly differentially downregulated. These data could be meaningful in studying the molecular mechanisms of fungal development, and for the industrial and medicinal application of macro-fungi. © 2020 The Author(s)

摘要:
This study used thermochemical liquefaction technology to prepare bio-oil from pig manure with ethanol as liquefaction solvent. The work investigated the effects of liquefaction temperatures (T), solid–liquid rates (R1) and solvent filling rates (R2) on the yield, composition and property of bio-oil. The yield of bio-oil enhanced initially and then declined slightly with the enhancement of T and R2, nevertheless, the yield of bio-oil decreased constantly with the increase of R1, and the topmost yield of bio-oil in this experiment was 35.56% when the solid–liquid rate was 5%. The work studied the properties of bio-oil generated by pig manure under different liquefaction temperatures. The results of gas chromatography–mass spectroscopy analysis revealed that the dominating composition of bio-oil from pig manure were esters, long-chain hydrocarbons, ketones, ethanol, organic acids and nitrogen compounds. The heating value of bio-oil (34.39 ~ 37.03 MJ/kg) obtained by thermochemical liquefaction of pig manure was close to the heating value of gasoline (46 MJ/kg). Electronic scanning of liquefaction residue has also been reported. © 2019 Elsevier Ltd

摘要:
Semiconductor heterostructures have attracted extensive interest in photocatalytic degradation of antibiotic pollutants. In this study, a novel In2S3/InVO4 heterojunction was prepared via a simple in-situ anion exchange method by reacting pre-synthesized InVO4 microspheres with Na2S in an aqueous solution. The structures, morphologies and optical properties of the as-prepared samples were well characterized by XRD, SEM, EDS, TEM, XPS, N2 adsorption–desorption, UV–Vis absorption spectra, PL, photocurrent and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Benefiting from the enlarged visible light response and the formation of heterostructure, the as-prepared In2S3/InVO4 microspheres exhibit significantly promoted photocatalytic performance for the degradation of tetracycline (TC) under visible-light illumination. The optimum photocatalytic efficiency of In2S3/InVO4 composite was almost 2.26 and 11.71 times higher than that of In2S3 and InVO4, respectively. It also exhibited remarkable stability and repeatability. Radical trapping experiment and electron spin resonance results indicate that h+ and [rad]O2− are the main active species in the reaction system, and the role of [rad]OH can be ignored. The detailed photocatalytic mechanism is also proposed. © 2018 Elsevier B.V.

Sulfur-containing amino acids (SAAs) such as methionine (Met) and cysteine (Cys) are involved in the control of oxidative states and may serve as mediators of metabolism and cellular functions. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of different Met/Cys ratios (46% Met, 51% Met, 56% Met, and 61% Met, with Met accounting for 0.78% of the total SAAs and Cys for the remainder; see Methods section for details) on the plasma metabolomics, intestinal microflora of the sow in late pregnancy and survival rate of piglets. The results demonstrated that the 51% Met group increased the survival rate of piglets and improved the level of low-density lipoprotein, albumin, and phosphorus of serum in comparison with the 56% Met group. The resulting plasma metabolomic profile indicated that the 51% Met group had enhanced levels of β-alanine, uracil, hydrouracil, phosphoserine, vitamin D3, and α-tocotrienol compared with the 46% Met group. Moreover, the ratio of Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes was increased in the 51% Met and 62% Met groups in relation to the 56% Met group. In addition, Pearson's correlation analysis found that there were negative correlations between vitamin D3 and Ruminococcaceae-UCG-002 and between α-tocotrienol and Ruminococcaceae-UCG-002; there was a positive correlation between allantoin and Parabacteroides spp. These results suggested that 51% Met is the optimal Met/Cys ratio for sows in late pregnancy, because it increased the survival percentage of piglets and enhanced the increase in serum metabolites required for optimal sow health during late pregnancy. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Obesity is a major health concern worldwide and is considered to be associated with disruption of host-microbial homeostasis, especially microbiota composition in the gastrointestinal tract. Use of microbiota-directed foods or nutraceuticals therefore represents a promising approach for the control of obesity. Fucoxanthin, a marine carotenoid, has been proven to be one of the most effective anti-obesity natural products. However, its action mechanism is yet to be unraveled, especially with respect to its role in the modulation of gut microbiota composition. In the present study, profiles of microbiota in both the cecal and fecal samples from BALB/c mice given respectively the following treatments were examined: Normal chow diet (NCD), NCD + fucoxanthin (NCDF), high-fat-diet (HFD), and HFD + fucoxanthin (HFDF). The results showed that fucoxanthin supplementation for 4 weeks significantly changed the composition of both cecal and fecal microbiota. In addition, a differential effect was observed between the supplementation to NCD and to HFD. The changes in the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio and the abundance of S24-7 and Akkermansia were identified to be among the major gut microbiota modulating events associated with the anti-obesity bioactivity of fucoxanthin. Hence, our results suggested that fucoxanthin could be a promising microbiota-targeted functional-food ingredient. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

摘要:
The antineoplastic gefitinib has a low aqueous solubility, leading to poor absorption rates. To overcome this problem, microparticles (MP) were prepared using solution-enhanced dispersion by supercritical fluids (SEDS) with supercritical CO2 and the cosolvents dichloromethane and ethanol. The results showed that the use of SEDS resulted in the formation of smaller particles and rendered the usually heterogeneous crystals of the crude drug pure and uniform. Furthermore, the reduction in the MP size increased the dissolution rate of gefitinib, and in vitro cytotoxicity assays indicated that the MP inhibited the proliferation of A549 cells to a larger extent than did the crude drug. Given the beneficial properties of the MP, SEDS could potentially be used to micronize drugs for therapeutic applications. © 2019 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim

The emerging pollutant non-steroidal diclofenac sodium (DCF) has aroused increasing concerns, and the efficient removal of DCF from wastewater is becoming an urgent problem. In this study, the Mg/Al layered double hydroxide-Poly(m-Phenylenediamine) (LDH-PmPD) composite was synthesized, characterized and used for DCF adsorptive removal. The adsorption kinetics, isotherms as well as various influence factors, e.g., pH, humic acid, ions species and strength on the DCF removal were systematically investigated. The results showed that the presence of LDH weakened the accumulating density of PmPD and increased the specific surface area, which favored DCF adsorption on LDH-PmPD surface. LDH-PmPD exhibited a maximum adsorption capacity of 588 mg/g, which was superior to those of the conventional adsorbents. The artificial aging (100 d) experiment indicates a good stability of LDH-PmPD. Furthermore, due to the presence of electrostatic attraction, π-π electron-donor-acceptor interaction and N···HO hydrogen bonding between DCF and LDH-PmPD, the adsorption process was very effective in medical wastewater. The DCF removal efficiency reached nearly 100% within only 2 min in real medical wastewater using 0.125 g/L adsorbent. All these suggested that the prepared LDH-PmPD has great potential for DCF-contaminated water treatment. © 2019 Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
The fundamental understanding of electrocatalytic reaction process is anticipated to guide electrode upgradation and acquirement of high-performance vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs). Herein, a carbon fiber prototype system with a heteroatom gradient distribution has been developed with enlarged interlayer spacing and a high graphitization that improve the electronic conductivity and accelerate the electrocatalytic reaction, and the mechanism by which gradient-distributed heteroatoms enhance vanadium redox reactions was elucidated with the assistance of density functional theory calculations. All these contributions endow the obtained electrode prominent redox reversibility and durability with only 1.7% decay in energy efficiency over 1000 cycles at 150 mA cm -2 in the VRFBs. Our work sheds light on the significance of elaborated electrode design and impels the in-depth investigation of VRFBs with long service life. © 2019 American Chemical Society.

There have been no studies demonstrating the correlation between soil nutrient heterogeneity and cadmium (Cd) absorption of Bermudagrass. In this study, a pot experiment was carried out to study the correlation between them. The purpose is to find soil nutrient factors which are conducive to improving the Cd absorption and translocation. The eighth group had the largest total number of surviving plants, the highest Fv/Fo value (3.24) and the best growth characteristics. The fifth group had the lowest total number of surviving plants, Fv/Fo (2.47) and the worst growth. The Cd content of the fifth group (36.11 mg kg(-1)) was close to the eighth group (35.72 mg kg-1), but the two groups had significant differences in plant height, stem node length and stem node number (P < 0.05). The eighth group showed the highest contents of nitrate nitrogen (NO3--N), available potassium and urease activity. The fifth group showed the lowest NO3--N content, but the highest ammonium nitrogen (NH4+-N) and available phosphorus content. There was significant difference of the Cd bioconcentration factors (BCF) and trans location factor (TCF) between the fifth and the eighth group although they had the similar total soil Cd content (P < 0.05). The fifth group had the highest BCF and TCF. RDA analysis indicated the BCF and TCF were positively correlated with soil NH4+-N and available phosphorus and negatively correlated with soil NO3--N. The results demonstrated that soil NHI-N and available phosphorus were important soil ecological factors to enhance Cd absorption and translocation of bermudagrass. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. This study reports on the effects of two rhizome-based establishment procedures ‘miscanthus under maize’ (MUM) and ‘reference’ (REF) on the methane yield per hectare (MYH) of miscanthus in a field trial in southwest Germany. The dry matter yield (DMY) of aboveground biomass was determined each year in autumn over four years (2016–2019). A biogas batch experiment and a fiber analysis were conducted using plant samples from 2016–2018. Overall, MUM outperformed REF due to a high MYH of maize in 2016 (7211 m3 N CH4 ha−1). The MYH of miscanthus in MUM was significantly lower compared to REF in 2016 and 2017 due to a lower DMY. Earlier maturation of miscanthus in MUM caused higher ash and lignin contents compared with REF. However, the mean substrate-specific methane yield of miscanthus was similar across the treatments (281.2 and 276.2 lN kg−1 volatile solid−1). Non-significant differences in MYH 2018 (1624 and 1957 m3 N CH4 ha−1) and in DMY 2019 (15.6 and 21.7 Mg ha−1) between MUM and REF indicate, that MUM recovered from biotic and abiotic stress during 2016. Consequently, MUM could be a promising approach to close the methane yield gap of miscanthus cultivation in the first year of establishment. © 2019 by the authors.

Uridine monophosphate (UMP) is a major nucleotide analogue in mammalian milk and uridine (UR) is its gastro-intestinal metabolite in vivo. This study aims to investigate the functional effects of UMP and UR on the gut in vitro and in vivo. Twenty-one piglets were randomly allotted into three groups, the control group, UMP group and UR group, and orally administered UMP or UR for 10 days. Results showed that UMP and UR supplements improved the ADG of piglets, and decreased the diarrhea rate. UR increased the jejunum villus length/crypt depth ratio, Claudin-3 and E-cadherin expression, and the pyrimidine nucleotide metabolic enzymes including CMPK1, RRM2, UPRT, CTPS1 and CTPS2 in the duodenal mucosa. Both the UMP and UR decreased the expression of CAD and RRM2 at the jejunal mucosa. Moreover, UMP and UR increased the apoptosis ratio of intestinal epithelial cells in in vivo and in vitro experiments. Taken together, oral administration of UR and UMP could improve the small intestinal morphology, promote epithelial cell apoptosis and renewal of intestinal villus tips, and benefit intestinal development and health thus improving the growth performance and reducing the risk of diarrhea in early-weaned piglets. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

The lignocellulosic biomass derived from Miscanthus Anderss. and switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) has been widely investigated; however, large−scale production is obstructed by the lack of suitable genotypes for their growth on marginal land. To breed new varieties that can adapt to specific marginal lands, a four-year (2014−2017) field experiment was conducted using switchgrass and 12 Miscanthus genotypes on marginal land in the Yellow River Delta (YRD). The performances of Miscanthus and switchgrass were evaluated and climatic factors limiting their biomass yield were identified. During each year of the trial, 13 genotypes were harvested in winter and their biometric characteristics (biomass yield, plant height, stem diameter, and tiller number) were measured. Quality parameters (cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, and ash) were determined in the third growing season. The three-year average biomass yield of switchgrass was 5.66 Mg/ha. The three-year average biomass yield of the 12 Miscanthus genotypes ranged from 1.99 to 32.09 Mg/ha. The biomass yields of M. lutarioriparius and hybrids were significantly higher than that of switchgrass, however, these were more sensitive to rainfall than switchgrass. No significant difference was found between the ash contents of M. lutarioriparius, M. sacchariflorus, and switchgrass. The contents of hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin were 377.69, 526.10, and 109.33 g/kg, respectively for switchgrass, and 247.56−391.28 g/kg, 473.52−619.85 g/kg, and 83.03−132.88 g/kg, respectively, for Miscanthus. Combining biomass yield and quality, the potential ethanol productions of M. lutarioriparius and Miscanthus hybrids were higher than that of switchgrass, and the Miscanthus hybrid h1 reached 14,600 L/ha. The results of this study provide fundamental information for the development and utilization of biomass crops on marginal land in the YRD. © 2019 Elsevier B.V.

This study deals with approaches for a social-ecological friendly European bioeconomy based on biomass from industrial crops cultivated on marginal agricultural land. The selected crops to be investigated are: Biomass sorghum, camelina, cardoon, castor, crambe, Ethiopian mustard, giant reed, hemp, lupin, miscanthus, pennycress, poplar, reed canary grass, safflower, Siberian elm, switchgrass, tall wheatgrass, wild sugarcane, and willow. The research question focused on the overall crop growth suitability under low-input management. The study assessed: (i) How the growth suitability of industrial crops can be defined under the given natural constraints of European marginal agricultural lands; and (ii) which agricultural practices are required for marginal agricultural land low-input systems (MALLIS). For the growth-suitability analysis, available thresholds and growth requirements of the selected industrial crops were defined. The marginal agricultural land was categorized according to the agro-ecological zone (AEZ) concept in combination with the marginality constraints, so-called 'marginal agro-ecological zones' (M-AEZ). It was found that both large marginal agricultural areas and numerous agricultural practices are available for industrial crop cultivation on European marginal agricultural lands. These results help to further describe the suitability of industrial crops for the development of social-ecologically friendly MALLIS in Europe. © 2019 by the authors. Environmental variations are rapidly altering plant species and functional composition, which may have consequent influences on ecosystem functioning. We measured species and functional diversity of macrophyte community as well as environmental variables in 1,008 plots in 24 freshwater lakes across Yunnan–Guizhou plateau and Yangtze River in south China. We used generalized multilevel path models to test how the environmental effects on macrophytes productivity directly and indirectly through changes in species and functional diversity. We found distinct species and functional responses to the four groups of environmental variables:water quality, heterogeneity, climate, and topography. Macrophyte communities tended to be high richness and dominated by species with high-stem dry mass content and long flowering duration at eutrophic, heterogeneous, high altitude, or deepwater habitats. Submersed and annual species with high-specific leaf area dominated in heterogeneous and high altitude conditions, whereas species with high shoot and leaf dry mass content as well as thin stem and lamina dominated in heterogeneous and low-altitude conditions. Functional dispersion (FDis) decreased in heterogeneous and high-altitude habitats and increased at deepwater. These changes in functional composition have subsequently significant influences on community productivity, involving the opposite pathways of positive effects of community-weighted mean (CWM) traits and negative effects of FDis, ultimately contributing to the observed invariable macrophytes productivity along the tested environmental gradients. Our results provide strong evidences that both species and functional composition mediate the cascading effects of environments on macrophytes productivity. © 2019 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Soil microorganisms regulate ecosystem function and aboveground community dynamics in terrestrial ecosystems. However, our current understanding of the drivers of soil microbial diversity lags our understanding of macroorganisms. Here, we used Illumina sequencing of 16S and ITS rRNA genes to explore which factor(s) controlled soil microbial (i.e., bacteria and fungi) richness and diversity in a 25-ha karst broadleaf forest in Southwest China. Across the plot, all bacterial and fungal richness (number of OTUs) and diversity indices (Shannon diversity and phylogenetic diversity) showed strong spatial autocorrelations. Soil microbial richness and diversity indices displayed a unimodal pattern from south to north in the karst forest, with peaks in the low and middle areas of the plot. Slope was found to be the best predictor of soil bacterial and fungal richness and diversity indices. Soil pH was negatively related with bacterial richness, and with bacterial and fungal phylogenetic diversity. Tree Shannon diversity and density together explained much of the variations in fungal OTUs and diversity indices. Spatial factors explained much less of the variation in soil microbial richness and diversity indices than the selected environmental variables, which indicated that habitat heterogeneity rather than dispersal limitation played an important role in soil microbial richness and diversity in the karst forest. In conclusion, slope was the major driver of the spatial distribution of soil microbial richness and diversity in the karst forest due to its effects on plant (i.e., tree Shannon diversity and tree density) and soil characteristics (i.e., soil pH and available phosphorus). © 2019

Cysteine (Cys) is a semi-essential amino acid that is synthesized from methionine in mammals and affects their physiological state. This study aimed at investigating the effects of different Cys levels on the birth weight and survival rate of piglets as well as the plasma biochemical parameters, intestinal microbial diversity, and plasma metabolome of sows during late pregnancy. The results showed that 0.4% Cys supplementation increased the birth weight of piglets and decreased the calcium, triglyceride, and bilirubin levels in sows, whereas 0.5% Cys supplementation reduced the gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase levels and increased the serum glucose levels in sows at farrowing. Intestinal microbial analysis demonstrated that 0.4% Cys supplementation increased the diversity of fecal and intestinal microbiota compared with 0.5% Cys supplementation. In addition, plasma metabolomics identified 11 differential metabolites among the 0.4% Cys, 0.5% Cys, and control (basal diet) groups. The serum hypotaurine levels in sows increased by 0.4% and 0.5% Cys supplementation, and the serum acetylcysteine levels increased by 0.5% Cys supplementation; however, the differences in hypotaurine and acetylcysteine levels between the 0.4% and 0.5% Cys groups were not significant. Furthermore, Pearson analysis revealed a positive correlation between the hypotaurine levels and the abundance of Lactobacillus or Pseudobutyrivibrio and a negative correlation between the acetylcysteine levels and the abundance of Ruminococcaceae-UCG-014. Overall, the results indicated that 0.4% Cys supplementation increased the birth weight of piglets, increased the differential metabolites beneficial for combating antioxidative stress in embryos enhancing the intestinal microbial abundance in sows, and increased the diversity of fecal microbiota in sows. Thus, these findings suggest that 0.4% Cys supplementation is highly beneficial for maintaining the health of sows during late pregnancy. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

以典型农业小流域——开慧河流域源区为研究对象,基于研究区农业面源污染的主要排放特征,建立以生态湿地为主的小流域面源污染生态工程综合治理系统,重点探讨其对水体氮磷污染物的去除效果.结果表明,畜禽养殖业是开慧河流域源区水体氮磷污染物的主要来源,需要重点防控.组合生态湿地处理工程对农村分散式生活与养殖混合废水总氮(TN)、总磷(TP)的平均去除率为87. 1%和90. 9%;多级人工湿地拦截工程对农田排水与分散式养殖混合废水TN、TP的平均去除率为85. 7%和84. 9%;景观型生态湿地净化工程对末端汇水区水体中TN、TP的去除率在27. 1%~67. 4%和13. 3%~81. 5%之间.整个生态工程综合治理系统对流域TN和TP污染物的总拦截量分别为5 292 kg·a-1和1 054 kg·a-1,占研究区农业面源TN、TP总污染负荷的35. 3%和43. 6%.因此,构建的生态工程综合治理系统对流域农业面源氮磷污染具有较好的治理效应,适合在我国南方小流域水环境治理中推广应用.

The catalytic performances of magnetic NixFe3−xO4 catalysts in persulfate (PS) activation for tetracycline (TC) degradation are first investigated. In this study, NixFe3−xO4 catalysts with variable compositions (x = 0.2, 0.6 and 1.0) were synthesized. The physical and chemical characteristics of NixFe3−xO4 catalysts were investigated systematically. NixFe3−xO4 catalysts have sheet-like morphology and spinel type structure. In NixFe3−xO4/PS system, sulfate radical (SO4[rad]−) and hydroxyl radicals (HO[rad]) produced by PS activation degraded TC efficiently. In the comparation of different NixFe3−xO4 catalysts, Ni0.6Fe2.4O4 presented superior catalytic activity performance. The optimum degradation rate in 86% was obtained at Ni0.6Fe2.4O4 = 350 mg/L, PS = 42.0 µM and pH = 7 after 35 min reaction. The main radicals (SO4[rad]− and HO[rad]) were identified by scavengers and the electron spin resonance (ESR) experiment. Meanwhile, possible activation and degradation mechanism were analyzed thoroughly. The high catalytic efficiency and short degradation period of Ni0.6Fe2.4O4 catalyst indicate that it has great potential in TC wastewater disposal and environmental protection. © 2018 Elsevier B.V.

Exploring the relationship between net anthropogenic phosphorus input (NAPI) and soil available P (SAP) content could inform applied issues related to environmental quality and agronomic productivity and increase our knowledge of element biogeochemical cycles. Here, the NAPI was estimated and the SAP content determined in eight counties in subtropical China from 1980 to 2010. It is suggested that the NAPI ranging 318-924 km−2 yr−1 in 1980 had increased substantially to 865–3601 km−2 yr−1 in 2010 across the eight counties, in which the P fertilizer application was estimated to represent the largest individual source of NAPI, accounting for an average of 36.1–74.6% of the NAPI. The NAPI in agricultural land (NAPIa) was the largest component of the NAPI, and 60.7–77.1% of the NAPIa accumulated in the upper 20 cm layer of agricultural soils, which significantly increased soil total–P (TP) and SAP contents. The increases in SAP, resulting from 10,000 kg P km−2 of the NAPIa (IOPNAPI), were estimated to be 1.61–4.36 mg P kg−1 in the counties. Both the correlation and variation partitioning analyses (VPAs) suggested that the soil pH and organic matter content (SOM) were the most important factors influencing the variations of IOPNAPI (determination coefficient: 72.5%). Therefore, the contribution of soil pH and SOM should be considered in enriching soil SAP levels and implementing optimal P management strategies to improving the agronomic effectiveness of P fertilization and further reduce the environmental risk of P loss in subtropical region. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd

Arsenic ion is a well-known harmful heavy element widely existing in the environment. Arsenic pollution occurring frequently has become increasing a serious worldwide threat to human health and the environment. The development of sensitive and reliable methods to detect As<sup>3+</sup> in water is of great importance to biochemical research and monitoring applications. Herein, a label-free fluorescence sensing platform was elaborately designed for As<sup>3+</sup> monitoring using exonuclease III (Exo III)-assisted cascade target recycling amplification strategy. The triple-helix molecular switch was employed as the sensing element and 2-amino-5,6,7-trimethyl-1,8-naphthyridine was used as the signal indicator. The resulting biosensor is simple, ultrasensitive, and exhibits a limit of detection of 5 ng/L with high selectivity. Meanwhile, the proposed sensor is successfully applied to determination of As<sup>3+</sup> in practical sample analysis (tap water, lake water and pond water). The results shown herein have important implications in the development of new fluorescent sensors for the fast, easy, and selective detection and quantification of As<sup>3+</sup> in water samples. More importantly, the proposed platform can be extended to detect other heavy metal ions with newly designed triple-helix molecular switch, as well as pesticide residue, antibiotic residues, and biomarkers by using aptamer sequences.<br/> ©2018
